Ofc. you gonna say that because it’s easier to play innocent/stupid that face the fact that you want people to follow specific rules but you ignore those rules right away and behave like you are correct and they are worng
Except, I wasn’t referring to what they were arguing about but to the fallacious way of arguing he does
I mean, it is not like he could express it in a different way. We should not need to start every post with long winded explanation in order to leave no potential for misread, and even if we do people will still misread.
If you want to hold people to some standard you need to keep yourself to the same standard or else your credibility and even your argument gonna go out of the window.
If someone wants people to stop assuming and stick to the facts then you can’t do 180 and do the same thing because then you are just a hypocrite.
Now u are just being silly, and you aint even one of the classes that can struggle tbh…
Anyways some players will like it and others wont, I can just respect both, you cant it seems and that is just sad…
I didn’t really enjoy neither of them isles were annoying because of other people but got better when I got enough gear and didn’t have to bother with people in there.
Torghast is just annoying it doesn’t feel rewarding takes too long and feels like the difficulty is all over the place and ranges from easy as leveling to annoying as hell to complete.
Like if I get throw enemies to air with fire blast everything in Torghast becomes faceroll especially if you happen to get lucky and get that mist thing that prevents enemy spellcasting against you.
But it won the case…
That’s your assumption based on your bias, not a fact
You don’t know what was Blizzard’s actual reason for rebalancing but you are assuming that it was caused by people complaining that TH is bad when there are other more rational reasons like internal data showing that people fail given Layer way too many times and that data has nothing to do with people whining on social media.
What is more rational and probable: Blizzard listening to unsubstantial subjective whining or Blizzard acting on their factual internal data which has nothing to do with people calling TH bad? Knowing Blizzard history it’s the second one because they usually rebalance content based on their internal data NOT subjective.
When you have the skill and gear to do it, why does everything have to be doable at day 1 for you? Dont you get any pride or satisfaction of making goals and reaching them when you can?
And what’s the harm in having to work at it over multiple weeks before you can do it ?
or is the only reason you play for the instant gratification?
Because outcome… how’s that make you feel?
It doesn’t matter how many times you will make those halfassed vague responses it’s still wont change the fact that you have zero credible evidence to prove your claims
Honestly, what is wrong with the nerfs? They dont apply to the hard layers, so far they only apply up to level 8…
which isnt the ‘hard’ levels, its just the only one you can do up to at present.
Maybe wait til all possible layers of Torghast are available then decide wether it needs to be nerfed or buffed?
Burden of roof is on the accuser.
LOL…
The burden of proof is on the one who makes a positive claim i.e. claims that something happened, something exists, etc.
So it’s on your to prove that your claim is true NOT on me to prove that your claim is false
I mean I play hyper casual now but my bro and I were loving doing the harder difficulties.
Was really looking forward to trying lvl8 today, was so disappointed after level 7 almost dumpstered us yesterday.
I mean Blizzard cannot afford under any circumstances this time around to overly inconvenience players, even if it seems on the outside as a trivial thing that wasn’t an issue for many players.
They’re playing it cautious, very cautious even. Clearly if they’re nerfing up to layer 8 already they either
-
have the intention that the higher layers are harder
-
think that the current difficulty is putting off the larger part of the playerbase (ie the casual player)
I honestly find Torghast fun, pre and post nerf still, mostly because they took the dungeon crawler idea (popularised with Palace of the Dead in FF14) and made a decent attempt at putting “fun” in the game over systems and bolted on nonsense (which the legendary system has the vibe to)
Truthfully Blizzard have data on everything in the game, they can see literally everything a player does whenever. it’s kind of like they’re the Jailer on steroids. the problem is they have so many metrics to measure these days they have in the past put two and two together in the wrong way.
What the data might be suggesting is rather than nerf torghast it might be better to buff classes instead so they can compete in it better.
But it’s just speculation, either way you are right they will have the numbers in front of them and will not be just acting on a few loud voices.
Youre in denial.
Blizzard finally FIXED torghast. After the “fix/nerf” it was actually FUN now. I did 3 torghasts in a row and it was easier, but actually FUN.
Did level 8 tonight, where before you had to be careful taking on elites of 1 or even 2 per pull, I can now pull 3 elites at a time and totally roll face.
If this is how its going to continue, might as well just mail everyone their legendries, there honestly is zero effort now to completing it.
Fun being the main thing to say here. I agree entirely its a lot more fun to do solo now. Shadow Priest already was a bit hilarious to play with, becoming the rat king and the like but now it’s less of a chore and more of a fun mini-game to do.
