I don’t see how he is being obnoxious I think that categorisation would best suit you, being that he simply stated his views alongside the fact that its pretty apparently true…

Also why do you need it to be easier? You’ve done several heroic bosses or did you get carried through that as well.

Get legendaries and have fun with them? If someone has milions of dollars on bank account you ask him too why does he need so much money if he needs just few thousand to live?

Did it got nerfed? When?

People got to understand that Torghast is a Blizzard created problem. It could have been flavor content and open to be very challenging and punishing but they decided to tie main progression to it. So now they have to balance Torghast for the weakest link in the chain. You can’t have +50% of the playerbase incapable of main progression, whereas most of them not even liking Torghast as content. That’s how you lose subs.

This is not a player fault. This is once again an invented problem that Blizzard has decided to create, same as having legendary powers drop from bosses in dungeons, or having BiS BoE items on day 1, or having resource nodes being farmable multiple times before they despawn. They create these problems themselves.

Don’t blame players for not wanting to participate in a poorly executed afterthought.

This here is classic textbook selective outrage just for the absolute sake of it.

Some people are going to say: ‘Just wait for twisted corridors’, but we all know how those are going to end up. They’re either gonna be released with all the nerfs or get nerfed down the line, because people want the MOUNT and they can’t get it! Just like they couldn’t get soul ash…
Blizzard, please make normal and heroic mode, don’t force everyone into one playstyle.

Twisting corridors is the ‘challenging at higher level’ im confused to what’s gone.

As I said in the blizz thread. The 8 Layer was only meant to be a vehicle to slowly funnel us soul ash for legendries each week

People pretending torghast was anything but frustrating with 0 reward aside from ‘mandatory’ ash and such an appaling variance in powerlevel based on chance need to chill and enjoy corridoors later :sunglasses:
Did a layer yesterday 6 and got so many powers I did 11k dps as disc, then did a layer 7 and got such bad powers I almost got wiped out by the elites lol, 23k auto hits for days

I was fine with the difficulty, but I am happy with the anima powers change, since this will make the runs shorter.

Also, we shall have the Twisted Corridors to challenge ourselves, so I personally do not have any issues with these changes overall.

This is MMO right?
If you want something like Torghast then you are free to head back to diablo.
Torghast was never ment as a end game content.
It was forced thing for lego Craft.

You go to Torghast last boss with dozens of extra powers, which is not WoW. If you are lucky and/or have chosen correctly, you will find it easier to kill it. Again, it is only possible with these extra powers, which is not WoW. As an example last week at last boss I had 1.5 mins immunity to all damage and 30% extra damage for the whole fight. I was in “God mode”. This is not WoW. Imagine a Paladin shield that lasts for 90 seconds!

Torghast was also scaled according to the player, the group, the specs… How many players wasted 45 mins reaching last boss only to discover they did not have “God mode” on and end up wiping.

Also, doing layer 6 for 50 soul ash? What? Spend an hour for 50 ash? Remember you cannot just straight to 6, you go to do 5 first for at least one of two wings.

Torghast certainly needs adjusting.

Still needs to be account wide unlocks.

Torghast should have been just for extra stuff like mounts and transmogs like mage tower in legion making it mandatory in order to fix the classes that are 1/3 or 1/2 of a class is just not fun at all to me.

I wish blizzard would stop it and choose a talent system and stick with it rather than trying to reinvent the wheel every expansion by taking away stuff from classes and giving it back in form of borrowed power or legendary items.

I don’t really mind Torghast by itself but i do hate the grind aspect of the place. It just takes too long and too much of soul ash to collect for the next legendary items while at the same time torghast doesn’t feel rewarding or fun at all to do.

Torghast really doesn’t do anything at all but annoy me especially when i get some of the fun powers that do fun and crazy stuff and i can’t keep them permanently.

But they have to “invent” something on every expansion and patch, something “exciting” to make you feel good. If you simply had a talent tree you’d be bored.
