What’s the point of a fresh serv if you can’t prepare your characters on the expansion that you like ?
PLUS , SoM timing was terrible. Blizzard’s harrasment suits and hate for bobby was at peak, every content creator moved to new games (asmon -ff14 for example) and most of their fanbase did aswell.

Well it’s disappointing that we had to wait this long for them, but yes of course I am still going fresh. Fresh is life.
There will be, and a lot. WOTLK was a pinnacle of WoW, and there will be a big amount of a new players, that want to get a full and fresh journey, rather than swimming in an excrements of botted gold, 10 hour 70-80 runs of Sunwell jacked nerds, and ruined economy.
So “people” who are “not exited” are the ones who understand that they will not have advantage against new comers, and they are just simply jealous. Why you guys are even bothered about fresh servers existance? You have your Firemaw and Gehennas, sit there and be happy.

That’s a wider event and Classic was out of scope there. And most of those content creators doesn’t want to play again, even ex-server streamers were meh.
There is a small but stable audience for Fresh seasons, just that it has to be wider than what SoM was.

Don’t worry Mr. I-only-play-30-minutes-a-week, your precious “FRESH” servers will be filled with botted gold in no time too. Actually, they’ll have more bots than normal because the demand for gold will be much higher there than well established realms.
But hey, I don’t want to pee on your hopes and dreams.
Here is the first jelly, after 5 seconds. Already being toxic and wishing all the worse. No, they will not be filled, bots are using the level boost atm to go into the fray right after creating the account. And without level boost and 50% exp buff they will get banned way faster then they will hit level 20, leaving economy and competition healthy.
Once again, why do you care? Fresh servers are separated from the old ones, you can enjoy your first 80 in the first day of WOTLK(boosted on the ghost in Grizzly Hills lol), tons of botted gold, ruined AH, boosting spamers, elitist pugs, etc.

And before they just leveled from 1. During prepatch leveling will be much quicker, good time to mass manage a farm of bots. There is always demand so there always will be bots.
They weren’t before and won’t be now.
Not to mention legit players have a lot of solo farms opening with WoTLK levels and gear. We are talking thousands of gold pumped into the economy every day, way more than in TBC. People running with 100K will quickly set the prices for GDKP, resources and then allow RMT as well.
Let me guess, you didn’t got a free carry? Don’t expect PUGs in WoTLK to be any different. GDKP will want gold while PUGs will want 100% success rate so “inspect at Dalaran” or kick. Join a sane guild.
There are content creators picking fresh, but also many are not. The population drop during prepatch will also tell how many players want to level from 1 to max from scratch and how many will quickly backtrack to existing realm to boost or use existing toon. The more people leave the less they bother with Fresh. This metric will likely also affect if/when next vanilla Fresh would happen.
Worse case scenario is that people will transfer off fresh realms with valuable resources after few months. There won’t be any transfer-ins.
There will be, but there will be none at least a first few month, which is enough to enjoy the expansion. Sun will also collapse in 5 trillion years, so let’s all jump off the window now?

Current high pops will share the same fate as the ones who got deleted and merged into Mograine recently. again, there is nothing you can do about it. I would only suggest to start on the fresh server too.

Vanilla had no boosts but still overflood of bots. They always find the way. My prediction, fresh economy will be just as screwed as anywhere else before P2 hits.
Secondly, boosts and transfers WILL come to Fresh. Blizzard said that on US forum*, however they mentioned that no earlier than 26th of December.
*Please note, that they posted different information on EU and US forums in regards to Fresh servers. EU post is much more obscure without direct statements.
And I don’t care how many people will Fresh. I personally won’t, but I want to give information to those who are still deciding. It’s a long term decision for a returning player that might be regreted in the future, so any information they can get is vital.

Thank you for nothing! I am NOT a mega-server player, I haven’t run a single GDKP run. I happen to like my characters and the unique items that have dropped for me along the road. I do not in the least begrudge you the fresh servers, I’m just not starting over there. And absolutely not with that ridiculous 50% buff … if this was disabled on the fresh servers, then maybe …

No way that I’m going for a fresh start. I’ve done the alt leveling thing enough by now, not going to subject myself to it again for no reason
