Will WoW be more inclusive?

Why are the characters orientation revelant? I never think about it and I couldn’t care less if Sylvanas has a crush on Jaina or not, I just enjoy the story for what it is.

With shadowlands customizations you will be able to represent every ethnicity, and I think with all the races you represent all body types already anyway.

It’s a fantasy game, not IRL. and there’s plenty of LGBTQ representation across all Blizzard games.

Lmao, I love these threads. Can we get player/player marriage in shadowlands?

You mean in Overwatch? Haven’t seen any other Blizzard game explore characters’ sexualities (And thankfully so).

But even then, I don’t think “Token gay character” is something one should be proud of.

Represent!!! ^^,

Heli’s goes BURRRRRR

Gotta keep repeating it to show how unfunny and transphobic they are!

More options? Why not.

Taking away options (like the ability to pick a gender)? absolutely not.

Did i hear mechagnones but with wheels instead of legs?

Please keep these kinds of things out of a fantasy game, i have 0 interest in this in real life let alone in a game.
Why the constant need of force feeding this tripe to people?

Transphobes… The whole “attack helicopter” meme… is transphobic. This post is clearly bait to start drama but still.

No its not at all.

be who you are/want to be etc but dont expect everyone else to share your views. Sure as hell dont label them as a transphobe because they do not agree with you.

And you do this by bringing IRL politics into a video game?

Talking about NPCs in same sex relationships etc.

These are mututally exclusive. You can’t “be who you want to be” when everyone doesn’t let you.
Also the helicopter joke is actually a transphobic meme, not like had transphobia ascribed to it, it was literally made by transphobic people.

Only if you go out of your way to take offence, which seems to be the go to of some communities these days.

I’m fine with accepting diverse people, I’m tired of people like you claiming to be the victim of some “xxxphobe” because they didn’t kowtow to you or (horror) made a joke.

It was mainly born by some people identifying as dolphins etc and since it had meme potential it basically became what it is now. Dont pay it too much attention

The joke was made by actual Fascists(literal ones, not being hyperbolic), and is used by transphobic people. If your only jokes are transphobic ones then… get better jokes.

Ah, so now before telling jokes people need to study their Etymology to avoid offending someone who (it feels like) is kinda looking for a reason to be offended?

I should just stay out of these threads. It feels impossible to have a real conversation about it without someone pulling the victim card which I find very off putting.

Get over yourself Velharia, you’re a shining example of why people are starting to take LGBT people less seriously.

I was called that because I thought doctors pushing hormone blockers on children should have their licenses taken away. But apparently we can’t have thoughts like that now can we?

Don’t really notice nor care too much about that. For all I care they’re either really tight friends Starsky and Hutch style.

Probably because sexuality shouldn’t be a massive deal for characters. Unfortunately people can’t help but try to make it a big deal…

They really are not.

I don’t care if you want to identify as a cabbage, but don’t expect me to respect your delusion.

“Not letting” is a lot different from “Not wanting to pander to it”. If people didn’t want to let you be whatever you want to be, they’d be saying “No, stay as what you are or it’s a spanking for you”.

Or do you think any kind of pushback or criticism of it is somehow an attack on your very self?

The best course is to just roll your eyes and block if necessary. But apparently that’s too mundane, gotta up the ante.

I don’t think there is any denying that there are people out there who are… A bit insane about how they’re not in total support of gay people, but they are a real tiny minority.

It really does no favors to these people (And to me by some extent, which is why I typically go around as straight rather than bisexual) to go around screaming “The world is out to get me!” when really people are just rolling their eyes. Behaving like a spoiled brat who is offended that it didn’t get a candy is going to just… Well, make people upset. And it is slowly getting there.

To close this post off, I just want to say: Behave like a normal human being, stop looking to be offended, don’t make a big deal out of people’s sexuality.
