Thats a two edged blade tbh. It is better to transition early if you want to transition but frankly given how much experience we still lack on the field or said child lacking certainty its too great a risk and i agree that there should be a age restriction or in the very least very very very strict regulations to even consider it.
That the restrictions/requirements deeply vary from country to country is also an issue.

I wouldn’t recommend Argent Dawn even to my worst of enemies.
That place is… Gross, to say the least.
The issue is also compounded by a general lack of agreement of what gender even “is”, how it can be measured (if it can) and how it might manifest (if it does).
This doesn’t even begin to get into the murky waters of dealing with children and the ability of children to consent/understand stuff.
I don’t think it’s transphobic to maintain a child may not be able to understand the potential scope of their decision whilst they are still very young. This is the entire premise behind why children aren’t allowed to buy alcohol or buy cigerettes. It’s not because these things are “evil” (they’re perfectly legal - for adults) but rather it’s because partaking in them can introduce long-term problems or addictions- far-flung consequences that aren’t always easy to see; and children aren’t thought to have the capacity to judge this appropriately. So too it goes with introducing drugs that will alter your biochemistry.
there has to be a balance, because waiting too long is not ideal, but I am vehemently against children that are very young being allowed such drugs- more specifically I am critical of some of the ways the entire territory is regulated (or isn’t) regarding the matter, because it is quite a bit of “reckons” being cloaked in the language of scientific precision which is misleading.

i’m rarely ever on argent dawn, but yea goldshire is the worse, but the rest is just normal people doing their own thing.

While not ideal you can still address most things through surgery. For MtF anyhow. Im less certain about FtM. The problem with that is however once again different countries and different insurance. An insurance in germany for instance would have to pay for most of it if deemed necessary
Perhaps I am being a bit dramatic, the server really isn’t THAT bad.
However, it stems mostly from my interactions with those people on the forums and on Discord servers. They behave in a similar vein as that Velharia character does, arguably worse because they strike me as insincere with their support of gay people and are very eager to kick you out of their inner group if you don’t agree with them (I actually got kicked from a guild because the leader decided I was too stupid to be offended by people who’d have a problem with my orientations

I honestly must have some really bad luck to not meet the normal people. It’s always either one side of people trolling around, or it’s the Roleplay Network who has the major stake in the roleplaying community who act like bigots when it suits them.
I mean if hormone blockers is for a legitimate medical reason then i cant see an issue with it.
However, no child should be given hormone replacement therapy to transition until they are an adult so they can make a choice weighed up on the various information out there (18 yrs old). Kids do not know whats going on with themselves, they’re a bag of hormones fighting it out. If they become a legal adult then decide to transition then thats fine. imo, they still should have to fund that transition themselves . Maybe thats backwards of me but oh well.
We’re living in a world where common sense and non-destructive thought is considered “Backwards”. I wouldn’t feel too bad about it.

The fund question is obsolete dependent on country. If you pay an insurance then they have to cover it. Its a medical issue after all. They also pay their monthly insurance anyhow
As for Kids shouldnt be allowed and only at 18+: Yes. Especially since even people realize they have it or get it diagnosed while being way into adulthood. It can also really manifest to the point of being unbearable after already being an adult. Not to mention with people working differently. If youre very good at suppressing stuff then you can not have it manifest for god knows how long.

It’s pretty simple, there is representation, and there is -forced- representation. The former is where it is just normal, the same was as it -should- be in mainline society, the latter is where a big song and dance is made about it.
Also, lets get rid of this ‘Cult of the idiot’ idea that somehow bait is big or clever, and somehow people responding are ‘falling for it’, That is a completely asinine stance to take, and can be used to reduce any genuine statement to absurdity, meaning that actual conversation is dumbed down. Even the most ridiculous of statements can provoke a conversation. Of my gay mates, only one is what you would call ‘obvious’ about it, because he just loves camping it up, and fair play to him. of my Lesbian friends, none of them are ‘obvious’ about it (To the extent where I hit on one of them, now -that- was an embarrassing however thankfully happily put behind us conversation). I have friends who are Polyamorous, Bisexual, Asexual, and a cousin who is Trans.
I pretty much have the whole Bingo card when it comes to variety (Not like sexuality or gender is like Pokemon ‘Got to catch them all!’)
Natural inclusion is fine “So and so is gay” “Oh, right, fair enough” is the usual answer. “So and so is gay, and you need to know why, and how!” “No, no, I don’t, thats not my business” “No, but you need to know they are gay!” “Yeah, you told me, I’m just…not bothered about it, let them crack on with it, doesn’t bother me” “Yes but it should bother you, because it is a social issue!” “Hang on, I don’t care what they are, there -are- people who do care what they are, shouldn’t you be having this conversation with them?” “No, because I know you are not Homophobic so will listen” “Surely then I’m not the target demographic for your argument?”
That is what happens when Inclusivity stops being ‘normal’ but becomes an agenda. The people who just genuinely don’t care, will still just not care, but you’re not reaching the Homophobes, or the Transphobes, you figuratively are preaching to the choir.
If it turned out that ‘Wranduin’ was a thing, I wouldn’t personally care.
But I know there are people who would. They would scream about some gay agenda. As someone with gay friends, I can tell you this, there is no Gay Agenda, Jaysis, it’s hard enough getting them to agree which club to go to on a night out, let alone form some conspiracy that extends to a gaming company that spans the globe! Because they are not a homogenous hive mind, nor are Trans people.
If Blizz want to include it, they will, and hopefully it will be done in a tasteful way where it is just ‘normal’, because it is normal, and not in some ham fisted way and making a song and dance about it. Just include it.
This said, remember the outrage when it came out (Pun intended) that Tracer was a Lesbian and Soldier 76 was into dudes.
Thats why it becomes an issue. It isn’t some bizarre liberal agenda, its because when normal things happen to crop up in game, people get all homophobic about it. What, you going to stop playing Soldier 76 because he likes dudes? You going to stop playing Tracer because she likes lasses? (I bet the answer is no, to that one, because homophobes are massive hypocrites, dude on dude is disgusting, chick on chick is hawt!).
Just put it in game, but do it like it was normal, no announcements, no breast beating about it, just do it.
Oh wait, we saw what happened when they did that with the Kyrian. Seems we have a way to go yet folks…

Fact is, it’s not the first time this OP starts a troll thread about lgbt stuff. I know that he is NOT lgbt and he’s just a troll that wants to foment hate.
And as you can see from the replies, lot of people falling for it are just taking the occasion as an excuse to spit their hate. I don’t know why Blizzard doesn’t just permaban this Rainbowlove (and many other known trolls)
