Absolutely not dumb. You CHOOSE to go for a PvP server KNOWING that other players could and would affect your gameplay experience negatively.
That’s why, despite hesitating, I’m finally playing on a PvE server. I can still PvP, but on my own terms, and the “kiddos with no real life”, as you say, can’t affect me.
YOU made YOUR choice. Accept it. Or reroll PvE.
Why do you use “toxic” so much? For many world buffs are among the very few aspects in WoW that makes it actually matter when you die.
Losing world boss engagements and dying while collecting world buffs are the most prominent aspects of the game that make people actually stick together.
But you can see how people strayed one by one into PvP death squads like a herd of cats instead of banding together, therefore nothing can be expected of people who expect to collect buffs in PvP contested zones.
Guild organisation does not start once you zone into a raid. Try to organize your group of friends. Don’t you ride into BRM in one big cluster to defend your buffs? Why shouldnt you defend your buffs when stepping on Yoyamaba island or into Felwood for Songflower?
For me world buffs bring actual meaningful worldPvP into the game in which it matters much more if you die than a quick 2minute corpse walk of shame.
Ok booomer
