My world MS is 400-6000. Tried everything listed here: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/112214 and nothing worked. The issue must be on Blizzard’s side. Please help resolve this issue.
My ms is a lot higher as of today as well.
Maybe something to do with the TWW Alpha? Not sure.

Mine’s been absolutely insane since last night. Works fine for a couple of minutes and then suddenly the world MS reaches the ceiling. Weirdly though, I can play Plunderstorm just fine.
It seems that we are many to experience this issue (see other similar posts during the last 2-3 days).
Hopefully someone will notice and fix.
Blizz upgrade to Llama3 currently?
My ping has been high (around 5-6k) since Friday. According to Blizzard’s Pages, I’ve already submitted all the required data. What’s the next step? Can I expect a response from Blizzard? When this will be fixed?
I submitted a ticket about my high ping and asked if running a an app called ‘exitlag’ was the right course of action. Unfortunately, Blizzard support informed me they couldn’t answer that question and suggested I ask on the forums? or something got lost in tranlation? EU94205921

Thank you for your reply. I tried all the troubleshooting steps imaginable with no result.

When and how: I logged on friday evening to 4k World MS and since then it has always been unplayable (1000-16000 World MS). Bnet app is also very slow.

When and how: I started getting worse ping several weeks ago during night time (local from around 6pm onwards, server time 10AM onwards) but it was usually fine during server off hours (11PM onwards). However in the past week I’ve been getting insane amounts of World MS anywhere from 1k to 16k. I’ve done a couple tracert and WinMTR tests and it seems like after reaching the BLIZZARD-EN.edge7.Paris1 node packet loss starts to occur. I can provide the logs if needed.

When and how: It all started on Friday 19th, I experience high latency sometimes even 3000+ once I log the game. Before these issues I was playing with a ping of around 200 and everything was smooth and fine. Now, I literally can’t play the game. I tried restarting the router, deleting all addons, deleting the game, downloaded the game again and same thing happened. Once I enter the game the latency is red. When I want to mount up it is a 6,7 second delay. Please, help us out, it’s the only game that I play and I love it so much. I hope that this issue gets fixed soon. Also, my internet is really fast and works perfectly. Thank you in advance!

When and how: Typically when phasing from one zone to another or going through an instance, but also seemingly happens at random, have not been able to pinpoint an exact reason why it happens specifically. World MS shoots up between 1k and 2k. Been like this since Tuesday last week. However I’ve found low level questing within a zone or two has no issues. But it stops me being able to do dungeons, raids, etc. Should also note I do not have these issues at all while playing Plunderstorm, but all the time on retail servers.

Started at some point on Friday. I’ve had some limited success with a VPN, first connecting to Taiwan which resulted in high (~400ms) but stable latency (not totally surprising ping given that it’s first going the wrong way). Any other VPN connection towards the destination (MY, SG, UAE, FR) was bad.
This evening I’ve had luck with a VPN into Marseille at ~215ms (which is pretty close to best); ‘VPN off’ still results in 10k world latency.
Suggests a routing issue somewhere.
To speculate, it’s just about 6 weeks after the cables were cut, off the coast of Yemen. At the time they said it would be a month+ to start repairing those cables (due to permits). Quite a few reports from SE Asia that could go via this area, Japan also maybe if the ISP doesn’t route via the US/Russia.
