I agree, in the beta and not make it to live.
So let’s say you’ve got a feral with 3k RIO and a BM hunter with 500 RIO.
You gonna pick the BM hunter because BM hunter is the meta?
I don’t. That’d be pretty stupid.
Hey hey hey, I just ‘gave you’ conduits.
Don’t try and take any more.
/puts up fists
People insist on classes for M+ and raid despite the fact people cannot swap class. Groups go “warrior tank pls” and don’t give the vengeance demon hunters in GF a break because “wait a minute, he can’t change class, let’s give him a chance” because warrior is better in demonstration.
They don’t do that. So the idea people won’t discriminate on covenants because they can’t swap is hilarious.
Then what’s your problem with other playing how they want to play?
If you wanna stick to your covenant/conduits, then do so.
The rest of us can enjoy the game by switching when we want.
You upholding this Blizz bullcrap time-gating means that you want to prevent us from enjoying the game.
How selfish can you get?
Right now ? Would take the feral, to get to 3k IO he is using he correct corruptions and stuff, in SL probably wont be 3k io with covenants.
Experience and meta are not mutually exclusive. Same question equal RIO
Oh, I don’t want it to seem you’re speaking on behalf of the community. I want my own opinions on here too, so if it gets looked at they can see the feelings are mixed.
1st = Depends on the affixes. For example on Tyran. Maybe my ST covenant will be actually usefull.
2nd = On the group setup. If the other 2 dpsers are coming with some awesome aoe covenants and/or aoe specs. Then maybe my ST will actually be more usefull than just another AoE boyo.
That’s nice that you have 2 options there for your setup.
Guess what, in Shadowlands you won’t have 2 options there, unless you want to wait 2 weeks for Covenants and 1 week for Conduits.
You may want to wait, i for one do not.
The rest of us
So full of yourself.
It’s fun to build characters based on story and get abilities that arise from those choices in the building process, and to look the part! That’s what RPG’s are all about! Choices that forge my identity and my abilities - and ideally a ton of them.
It would be if there weren’t class abilities. There is no connection between the class ability and the covenant. That’s what I don’t like and I would have been much happier if they baked them into the classes themselves. Keep the signature abilities that are actually related to their covenants. The CLASS abilities being a part of the system is by far my biggest pet peeve with this system.
You didnt give me anything more than a migrane, i still dont know why you are opposed to this? If you dont want to switch dont switch you dont do M+ or anything above LFR (your words), also you can experiment with your abilities as much as you want if you could switch.
i still dont know why you are opposed to this?
I’ve explained it soooo many times. Do you really expect me to keep repeating myself again and again?
Nah, they’ll exist just the same as FotM-rerollers still exist. It’s just that nobody cares 99% of the time. They don’t get to decide what’s gonna happen.
Quit lying, you know nobody will give a crap what covenant you are. Nobody asks you to change now anything, they won’t in Shadowlands either.
I’m in favor of removing the weekly cd for conduit switching.
Good.
But covenant abilities should stay where they are.
Class or signature?
I rather take a friend whom I can sit on discord and have fun while playing WoW.
Again exclude friends, you are in a situation where you need to PuG 4 random people for a dungeon.
The affixes for the next 2 weeks are known ahead. You can easily work out on what covenant you want for that time. If you just wait till Wednesday and then go “OmG my SETuP WonT wORK thIS WEEK!!!” then whose fault it is?
Class or signature?
Both.
Yes, because it doesnt make sence.
Yes, because it doesnt make sence.
No?
It doesn’t make sense that the system as Blizzard proposed it sounds fun to me? And that I want to try it as they meant it?
Not some neutered version.
Well, if it doesn’t make sense to you; sorry.
But it’s a valid reason.
I said this in another thread, but this is basically the Sekiro argument all over again.
