They don´t need to be removed. It´s just a bit silly to ask for another buff to be implemented. Just go without WCB. The playing field is not even anyway, since horde cant get pally buffs and alliance can not get totems. Alliance racials (especially human) do probably also make it easier for alliance

LMAO. If you can’t go for world record speed running for a few weeks until players come back, who cares. There are tons of other things to do, for example WSG and AB are popping again due to lower population, what more do you want. Enjoy the game! WCB will be back, don’t go ask for more changes plz, you know it’s wrong.

It’s not killing Era, stop being weak, OP. From rough estimates, using daily auction numbers, there are approximately the same number of horde as there are alliance at the moment.
Just calm down a bit and wait, fresh novelty will wear off; until then just play the game with what you’ve got and stop asking for more additions to this version of the game. Getting your knickers in a twist over something like this is so beta.
Just making the worldbuff quests repeatable is the best option imo.
You still have to clear dungeons/raids to get the heads, so people are still running the dungeons.

Let’s not talk about the racials where we know that for classic-tbc-wotlk and up to cata everyone doing raids are basically picking horde just because the racials are godly (don’t forget orcs 25% res stun** )
I’d really appreciate it if the feedback from this discussion could be as constructive and representative as possible. If it’s not too much trouble, could you include in your posts how many times per week you typically take the Rend buff in Era? It would be great if you could also specify how many of those times are on Alliance characters and how many are on Horde characters.
This will help paint a clearer picture of the different player perspectives in this thread.

Do not alllow getting rend to Alliance. Horde always lacking numbers because meta pve players who cant enjoy gaming as it was designed back in time destroying this game.
Do not change Era to retail please.
Edit: None cares if you get rend in Orgrimar. You wanna min max, min max at it cost. But dont change game mechanics just because you are lazy minmaxer.
You wanna be meta player do all meta work for it. Do not ask for changes that were never supposed to be around.

Aye please reveret all the changes, including PVP honor rate that changed era into AV botting ranking, including chronoboon. Agree.

they are not fine in ratio on PVP server. Because all people who cant enjoy the game outside of minmax framework roll Alliance for PVE.
The thing is Horde has Warchief while alliance has a boy king. Perks of choosing the real faction at character creation screen. Its called WARCHIEF’S blessing for a reason

The whole situation with Warchiefs Blessing always rubbed me the wrong way. Either have it that mindcontrolled Alliance can’t get it at all, or have the Alliance counterpart for, I dunno, saving Moira and call it Magni’s Boon or some such popping in Ironforge and Loch Modan. The Horde-only world buff always left a bad taste in my mouth.
And have it add spellcrit and casting speed while you are at it, the wb’s are already super underwhelming for casters.

Blizzard are never getting rid of worldbuffs.
They’re the reason era is alive and kicking.
Raiding as melee without buffs is like playing the game in slow motion and is extremely dull.
Why do purisits care so much about raiders who want to not spend hours holding in their bodily fluids waiting anxiously for Rend to drop? Let us have alliance rend back.
It affected nobody except the griefers on horde who go around hunting alliance players who of course were very vocal about removing MoS because griefing rend catchers was just so important for them.
If Blizzard values money, it is a nobrainer to bring back Alliance rend to Era, as some people will literally just not bother raiding if they can’t get rend as there is no possibility of achieving new personal bests in logs without it, and in result just stop playing the game.

Actually it’s the reverse of this. If the buff is available to alliance they won’t need a separate account for their mind controller - less money for Blizz.
I’m pretty casual and even I have a level 60 priest to cap two of my melee classes, its not hard to do.
The game doesn’t need to change, we have other versions for all that malarkey.
