For dutchies (And maybe other countries) There’s a store called Game Outlet which sells them and currently has them in stock.

They -however- come more expensive, probably a re-seller, who knows. But for whoever can’t wait to pre-order or…maybe? hope there will be new stock, this is an option for you.

I ended up selling out in the end and have paid the higher price from a reseller.

Really sucks that I’ve had to reward to people that do this but I really want the physical box.

Not everyone can afford to pay twice the price like I have just done, so I really hope blizz drop some more stock that’s exclusive for wow subscribers this time round.

Still no response from Blizzard over this mess, no surprise there really as it just re-affirms players belief that Blizzard really do not care that players are getting ripped off because of scammers buying multiple copies and reselling on Ebay for at least double the retail price! There is simply no way that Blizzard did not know this would happen and yet they did nothing to prevent it. Blizzard gets the money and that’s the only thing they care about these days, so what if players get conned and/or ripped off, Blizzard’s bank account is nice and healthy! :frowning:

Does no one else see the irony in the fact that 90% of the posts in general are about how no one plays the game anymore and yet this one is full of players complaining that not enough of a special edition were made?

Saw them selling it on marktplaats for 149 euros. Game Mania had them for 110 euros but are sold out, amazon germany sold out. Checked on ebay, they go for between $150 to well over $800 :roll_eyes:

Hopefully Blizzard will sell more of these CE’s

I am assuming that this question can only be answered by amazon but thought it was worth a shot here anyway but does anyone know if amazon will honour all the pre-orders? i.e. did they only sell stock that they new they would obtain.

Game hasn’t even been available for pre-order in Norway, and while waiting for any kind of local news it’s been sold out before you’ve even officially begun selling it?
Get your poop together and open for more pre-orders.

It’s absolutely infuriating that you release a box like this out of the blue with no advance notice and in such small numbers that a lot of people - including myself - never had a chance to pre-order at all (I simply didn’t hear about it until everything was already gone), and even though the actual release date of the box is like six months away from the initial surprise announcement.

So clumsily and insultingly handled. Way to treat those who have been subscribers all the way back since 2005!

I only heard about it when I read the furore on the forums about how the store had run out and I managed to get a pre-order one in from amazon.

The only reason I can think of the small numbers is that they were actually reading the forums which were filled full of posts about how no one plays this game anymore.

edit: My mistake, I misread the initial post as Blizzard didn’t announce the collectors edition until the majority of units had sold out rather than that the poster I quoted didn’t hear about it until after they had run out. My point still stands that I didn’t order mine until after hearing the furore on the forums as to how the EU store had sold out already.
