While the real money price of Token is fixed, the in-game gold price (how much are Tokens selling for) changes dynamically according to supply and demand. You can not choose how much do you want to sell it for - it is automatically determined by Blizzard’s internal algorithm.
Fewer people buy it for real money / more people want to give their gold for it = less supply/more demand = Token’s gold price rises.
Unless its a known abbreviation, caps spam is considered “shouting”. It just puts me in mind of an idiot ranting on a soapbox. But keep doing it, and know what it brings to mind when you do.
The problem is I see wow tokens as a root of many problems wow has and I do think boosting actually makes the game horrible. I boosted for gold a lot but it always feels wrong. I just understand that opinions are opinions and are subjective, not objective if we aren’t discussing scientific facts but I noticed exchanges of arguments on the forums seem to be a lot about “my made up definition is the only correct one and everybody else is dumb”. Plus I do like to argue.
I can tell you what I did the past few weeks. I made a lot of SoD heroic pugs with queues that were asking either “at least 9/10hc” (and inviting mainly them) or “be curved” (and inviting mainly them).
It is very clear that the “9/10hc” people were clearing the raid way easier and it is not about being more wipe-resistant because the “curves” couldn’t even do Fatescribe easily.
I disagree in wotlk i made a lot of gold via proffs which back then actually had use there was no need to look for gold outside of wow . JC and LW made me minted .
no it is not you just do not like honest answers and peoples views and believe only you are correct.
Apart from Painsmith all fights on heroic are really easy and should be puggable however Lady S is not easy at all at an avg of 15mins .
I can’t take a poster seriously that doesn’t even get how the game works.
You can make MILLIONS in days with current professions at launch.
You can make millions in weeks even during lull periods.
So you just gonna spin in circles and ignore the fact that for the game to be P2W it needs to be designed to have P2W features which means that P2W is not defined by subjective opinions but by how the game is designed, and what this design enables people to do.
As far as I can say you are neither honest nor competent enough to examine how the P2W system works, but then you brag about writing a doctorate. I guess you are just another Pauling.
Just saying you can make a lot of gold now with professions too. I realize this make’s me the devil’s advocate because your point was you don’t have to buy it but just saying you have no clue about the professions environment of the game.
In any case the point is that people can buy gold with cash now and that’s a fact and since gold can buy runs and achievements: it ruins my gameplay because I literally get better runs with 9/10hc queues than “curve only” queues.
