With scheduled weekly maintenance, WoW Classic will be updated to Patch 1.13.7.
World of Warcraft: Classic Patch Notes
Version 1.13.7
Chronoboon Displacer
Players who complete Chromie’s quests in Andorhal can obtain an ancient artifact of Bronze Dragonflight magic.
Use the Chronoboon Displacer to store any world buffs such as Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer, Warchief’s Blessing, and Spirit of Zandalar for later use.
Click the Supercharged Chronoboon Displacer to restore your buffs with their previous remaining durations intact.
You may not benefit from additional world buffs until you have restored any that you currently have stored in the Supercharged Chronoboon Displacer.
Gameplay Adjustments
Beneficial buff priority system
Beneficial buffs are now prioritized, similarly to how debuffs have been prioritized.
This should help prevent situations where limited-duration or low impact buffs such as Renew, Rejuvenation, or 6-piece set bonuses would “push off” important buffs such as Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer or Flask of the Titans when used on a player that is near the buff limit.
Mark of the Champion, Rune of the Dawn, and Seal of the Dawn’s benefits are now marked as “passive” auras and will no longer count towards the player buff cap.
Spell batching removed
The 400ms “spell batch” window has been reduced to 10ms.
This should cause most player abilities to behave in a more responsive way, with damage and healing applied to targets faster. Certain operations in the game now resolve faster, such as purchasing multiple quantities of items from vendors rapidly.
Paladin seals will now persist on the Paladin for a very short time after they’re replaced by a different seal, so that “seal twisting” remains possible.
Naxxrammas
There is now no area of the raised platform in Heigan the Unclean’s encounter space that is safe from Heigan’s mana burn while Heigan himself is on the platform.
Fixed a few areas in the Heigan the Unclean encounter space where Plague Waves could overlap and deal double damage.
Items
Made several fixes and improvements to the combat behavior of guardians summoned from items such as the Vanquished Tentacle of C’thun, Defender of the Timbermaw, and Arcanite Dragonling to make them more likely to engage in combat in a wider variety of situations.
Shadow Oil and Frost Oil can now proc while the player is on the Global Cooldown.
Developers’ note: Shadow Oil is still bound by an internal cooldown however, and this is intended.
Resolved an issue that caused the Barov Peasant Caller trinket to only spawn 1 Peasant.
Resolved several issues with the Eye of the Dead trinket:
Spells such as Chain Heal and Prayer of Healing now only consume a single charge.
Heal-over-time spells now properly consume a charge when used.
Bug Fixes
The Cryptstalker Headpiece is no longer missing part of the red eye glow effect.
Resolved an issue that caused the Brimstone Staff and Rhok’delar, Longbow of Ancient Keepers to not properly animate.
City Guards now once again correctly respond to /salute and /wave emotes.
Some questions regarding this:
Is this a reusable item or does it get destroyed when taking the buffs out?
If its reusable, is there any cooldown or will you be able to store new buffs right after taking them in there if for example you happened to be dispelled right when you took them out of it?
Will any text say what buffs you have in there or do you need to remember for all of your chars?
Will there be any way to fill it up with buffs or do you still have to take them all in one go? Because this would kind of make the whole “I am raid logged” problem still exist while getting the buffs (that can take several days if unlucky). I guess that its better than now, but its kind of annoying to have to stay offline waiting for a buff the whole day (that might not even drop) because you have all the other buffs.
Mark of the Champion, Rune of the Dawn, and Seal of the Dawn’s benefits are now marked as “passive” auras and will no longer count towards the player buff cap.
Will this apply to the “Find minerals”, “Track beasts” and other similar things as well?
Resolved an issue that caused the Brimstone Staff and Rhok’delar, Longbow of Ancient Keepers to not properly animate.
How about Atiesh that is not animating as it should in the current state?
How about giving rogues artifical immortality after vanish for 0.3 sec? We can’t dodge some PvE spells in raids and this is a huge nerf. Idc about TBC but make it atleast for Classic.
Nice patch but please add a vendor for Consecrated Sharpening Stone or some other way to get it. Especially with classic era servers coming where people will be raiding naxx for years.
There are other great functionalities that the higher batch window allowed such as drinkwalking.
It would be really great if you could implement a solution so we can still drinkwalk with the lower batch. Especially going forward because in original TBC we could still drinkwalk.
Not being able to drinkwalk is a huge change. Please fix.

this not work on Dire maul tribute? or other buffs? i taugh we be able store DMT and such becouse most dispel issues and “jail buff” are nto coused by ZG and ony buff but trough dmt and song flower if thsi work only on WB its change nothing. ppl will still loging off and such
This just takes control away from the player. We always knew, the first buff that you get gets kicked off first. We could plan around that and control it.
Now we just have to hope that our priority for buffs alligns with the one you implemented.
Its also very situational and class dependent which buffs are relevent and good.
I think this system is going to lead to a lot more frustration than the current dependable system.
And even when we know what the priority is there will be a ton of situtation where we lose important buffs that we could have preserved with the old system.
Without having tested it - yes, I think that is what it means.
Either get all buffs and store them or get some buffs, store them, wait a while, then restore them and pick up the other buffs that you wanted and then immediately raid with them.
Or don’t use the item. Or log off between buffs.
Button if you are worried that, for example, a warrior would have the 3% spellcrit buff from Slip Kik prioritized over a druid’s thorns buff for example… you are right.
You are still in control though. Just don’t pick up buffs you find useless for a class.
What I would find funny in the old system… imagine a team of druids, warlocks, priests and a mage just buffing people right after a dragonslayer buff in the main city. Oh and paladins too.

On the horde side we will have paladins too in the prepatch for TBC but even if you don’t want to count all these blessings there’s waterwalking, healing way and ancestral healing to be added then.
Not sure if anyone has griefed worldbuffs that way before but without a priority system you could easily get rid of other people’s worldbuffs that way.
A bit off topic but will this be applied to Seal of Blood and Seal of Vengeance too later in TBCC? Beta testing right now shows that old seals like Righteousness and Command have this feature but not SoB nor SoV.
Hehe, pvp was never balanced, especially not 1v1. I got a rogue in my guild to 30% health in a duel without even attacking him once. That was just the damage he did to himself from thorns.
