I really don’t think it wi if implemented correctly. They already said that there will be catch up for alts almost from the start. And you can do you covenants endgame during living.

Aren’t RPGs known for their complexity?

If anything I loved the complexity added, I dread the balancing but imo the dev update was lackluster.

I wanted more, and yeah pls get rid of the mobile game or atleast make it interesting.

Yeah some people are hitting the panic button without rationally looking at the big picture.

All people was saying BFA will be super and we shoud not complain before it comes out. And now we got this horrible expansion!

So please complain how much you can! Because witghout that they will never change anything for good.

I didn’t like that part either, but it’s optional. You don’t need to do it.
And btw, I LOVED mission tables in Legion.

Idd, I don’t like to whine when we don’t even have those things playable yet. And the way I see it the more systems the more things to do. As long as it’s not a must do every day.

That’s always going to be the feeling when you’ve yet to actually play Shadowlands and experience any of it for yourself.

BfA was an intimidating monster as well with all its new features. Island Expedition with random spawns and AI enemy? What does that mean? A Warfront, what the hell is that?!

But once you get to play it, and once you’ve gone through the experience over numerous days or weeks, it becomes business-as-usual as anything else in WoW.

Nothing in WoW has ever been complicated or overwhelming once players get hands-on experience with it.

So it’s just a matter of patience. It’s overwhelming now because it’s a guy talking about it and you trying to process all of it as he speaks.

It’s made to be played, not to be told.

Neck catch up is fine. You can have 80lvl neck in 1 week. And also the catch up haven’t been annouched only that there will be. Stop whining before you see stuff in game.

Yea true that. Let’s hope they will focus less on useless PC stuff and actually fix the game and listen to complaints.

You have seen Island expedition in MoP but in better look this was scenarios and heroic scenarios.

Classic wow and upcoming TBC is your best bet. I ve lost hope for retail.

Oh man… you’re comparing 2 totally different things. You’re all doom and gloom, aren’t you. Go clear your mind for a bit. Relax. Have a drink.

Then come back and try to look at this a little more objectively… They’ve unveiled several endgame systems, of which many are OPTIONAL. Don’t you want things to do at endgame besides the tired old ‘raiding’ (or M+ if that tickles your fancy) ?!

Because I sure DO.

last expansion our class was complete wiht no borrowed pwoer or 500 different power/progession systems was WoD…
also last time got new talent row,and we aslo got perks evry 2levels while going from 90 to 100 in WoD and you got them for lvling up and dint need to grind them

but really why cant covenants adn all just be new glyphs/talents or like new minor talents?

It depends on the type of system, i will go look at the thing later, but not every system is good, personally i like systems usually, but it depends, there are a lot of caveats.

Yeah I’m not too worried right now. I never really followed the announcements before. We’ll have to see how it pans out.

The presentation could really have used some screenshots or videos of what was explained.

And in patch 10.0 you will lose all that power, and systems and they will add 20 more systems, and don’t balance classes.

But that’s not the same.

When Blizzard did the feature announcement at Blizzcon, trying to explain what Island Expedition was, it sounded pretty overwhelming due to all the new terms and design. AI technology. Random spawns and events. And so on.
There were a truck-load of articles written on Wowhead trying to explain it to players, because it was such an information overload.

But once players actually played it, it was pretty simple. Just a simple scenario setting where you grind monsters to fill a bar.

It’s the same with the Shadowlands systems. It feels very confusing right now, because it’s difficult to put all the information into context.
Once people get to play it, it’ll make sense.

Like I said, it’s made to be played, not to be told.

Have a nice day.
