There is no trolling, you are telling us you cant do anything at the endgame without questing.
And that statement is false.
But you dont want to hear that.

Get banned for what?
Explaining to you you dont need to do any of the quests to participate in anything we consider endgame?
How can i run M+ dungeons on alts without ever touching my covenant campaign then?
You made a post claiming EVERYTHING is locked behind quests and you dont want that. (On a general discussion forum)
But the truth is, nothing is locked behind quests, and when told so, you accuse people of trolling.
Go do whatever it is you want to do, and stop caring about the quests, all the things you āthinkā you need like Renown have a catch up mechanic and you earn that stuff passively overtime.
But sure, i will leave your precious thread alone.
But stop spreading the nonsense that every part of the current endgame is locked behind quests.
Since its simply not.
How?
You keep claiming everything is locked behind quests, and many of the replies here already told you, that claim isnt correct.
Yet you keep it up and keep telling us, that everything is locked behind quests.
Yes, general discussion forum.
If you want to tell Blizzard how you really feel, you should have just used the:
Please tell us why you unsubbed line and put in:
Everything is locked behind quests. So i quit.
Yet you came here, to a general discussion forum, got proved wrong and tell everyone they are trolls and you are now mass reporting people because you dont want to hear the truth.
Anyway, i surely wont miss you if you do quit.
But like many other āi quitā posters, i highly doubt if you even will do so.
/bye, i will finally leave your āprecious threadā alone.
Once again telling someone to quit the gameā¦
The word is āProvenā and that is, āin your opinionā.
Look, I have had enough of your toxic attitude, had enough quite some time ago, and that is why I am not giving answers to your questions. If you think not being answered to proves you right, then good luck with life.
Stop telling other people to quit the game & stop trolling topics just because you disagree with something. It is not acceptable. I would be banned for doing the same thing you have been doing.
I am not the one who opened a thread with the bold claim of:
EVERYTHING in WoW endgame wise is blocked behind quests.
I merely proven you wrong. And you keep on bickering thats not correct and everything you want to do is blocked off by quests.
And yet 150 replies into your thread, not 1 example has been given what ākindā of content is locked away behind quests, and what kind of content isnt accesible to you because of said quests.
And when asked, people who ask (me and others in this thread) are flagged for trolling or we get told we have a ātoxic attitudeā.
Or we get told: i dont have to answer because you are toxic people.
Thats not how it works, you stated your problem with the game, but when told that problem doesnt āexistā you cant back up your claim with examples or proof why you are right.
You cant claim X is bad just because i think so.
You need to deliver proof and show us.
But you did nothing of the above, and flagging people for trolling and accusing them of being a troll is probably the ānew standardā when proven wrong.
Ow btw, i am sow sorry vor my grammer mistekes, they seme to upsed your a big time, but i aint no natife english speakah.
I didnt, i merely pointed out where your feedback will be delivered towards Blizzard and said developers instantly.
Because they take those remarks serious, where as these forums barely get checked for āi quit reasonsā
It was merely a pointer where to properly supply feedback on quitting or if you would quit, because the forums and especially the EU forums arent really read by developers it seems.
And where was that exactly? What is offensive behaviour?
Asking for examples?
Explaining all mentioned quests are optional?
Explaining certain rewards from quests have catch up mechanics baked into M+ / raiding etc?
Its nice throwing out replies for the sake of throwing out replies, but once again lacks any substantial value.
Because tbh, nothing was ever meant to be offensive and yet your perception made it so.
@Ronjambo: Minor grammar police notification:

On the main topicā¦
Granted, massively disliking quests can cause this. I, on the other hand, hit the new maximum level of 60 twice at a speed far above my personal normal. I am tired and need sleep, so I will just note that different people will have highly different reactions to the exact same situation and this thread has proven / proved that.
Many players power leveled to 60 in classic because questing isnāt what they were interested in. Some players donāt understand the appeal to questing has long gone with them.
Whatās really worrying is that the op is not a bad troll but he actually seems to be ignorant and delusional enough to believe the nonsense heās writing.
Telling me to quit the game, and generally being rude and arrogant af towards me.
Really? I called someone a quest addict and got banned for it. But it is ok for you to call me a delusional troll? I also got banned one time for calling someone a troll. Rightā¦
You came to contribute nothing to the topic. You bring only insults. Perhaps you should look at how your own post can be seen as trolling.
Yes, exactly.
I mean likeā¦ if the expansion is going to be for 2 years, then I would prefer to do the quests very slowly and maybe get to the end of them by the end of the 2 years. I hope this puts it into perspective for people.
Telling me to quit the game, and generally being rude and arrogant af towards me.
So well meant advice and according to your thread the only piece of advice we could give.
Your feedback wont magically remove quests from WoW or make them redundant at any point.
And the ones you complain about are already optional, so if that doesnt suit you, there is only 1 piece of advice: to move on from this game.
Whether you like it or not, but offering advice never was rude, its just advice you dont want to hear and so you classify it as rude.
Rude and arrogant? Lol. Thats your perception of the replies. Once again, this whole thread is full of rants and being unable to do content according to you, yet you arent unable to do said content.
And that final part still didnt get through it seems.
If you donāt have all the best items, Ie. Legendaries, then who wants you in their raid? Nobody wants to carry you. So, you have to do the quests to get these.
If you donāt have all the best and most powerful spells, same goes, so you have to quest to get those.
That is not perception, and therefore those things are not optional, you are being obnoxious just for the sake of trying to get a last word on something.
Everyone else i have spoken to personally about this, state that āyou must do the quests in order to open the parts of the gameā and say that you cannot play the game until you have done the quests. You are the only person i have encountered so far who is adamant that this is not the case. Even in this topic some people have said that you must do the quests but you are just wanting someone to argue with because your opinion is different.
I have only just unlocked dungeons. I still cannot get into any raid, not even the raid finder. Because i am still stuck doing quests which unlock that content and give armours with the required item level. I havenāt even unlocked the last part of the map yet.
So - who is it that cannot understand something here? seems to be you.
Yes it can take some people just a few hours to do these quests, but it takes me a very long time. On the other hand, put me in a raid with equal item level to yours and i would probably trash your dps on my warlock, overheal you on my paladin and out-tank you on my DKā¦ sadly i havenāt even started to level those alts yet, because guess what? I am stuck doing boring crap quests on my main.
Do you understand now? Some people are different to you.
Now kindly shut up.
There are a lot of quests where you accept them, watch a cutscene, then turn them in, get 6 gold and 20 silver. Iāve also noticed that everything gameplay wise revolves around a single, main questline, itās like the sun revolves around the earth but for quests. Talking about something that has drained my enjoyment and you hit some spots I havenāt noticed, but Iād recommend being a tad less emotional about it, your segment about flying is purely something objective, and if the scenery is nice and the roads donāt have obstructions & good flight points, I think flying can be postponed. The flight points are way too time consuming in Shadowlands, and the roads always spin, turn and have mobs on them.
I also dislike questing in WoW. Maybe because in order to do my main activities I have to do questlines first.

The artworks are outstanding for WoW, yes. I always enjoy the scenery better from the air.
But, if they expect us to just rush through a set of ācampaignā quests and ignore every other quest until later, then we should be able to buy flying at level 60, so that those who struggle with quests can jump over the rest of the stuff for the āmainā quests.
Like we used to be able to.
I donāt think flying will help that much in that case, because youāre not simply flying from Jade Forest to The Vale of Eternal Blossoms, you need to get on an armored spĪµrm in order for the cutscene to play. Flying would help very little in the convenant campaign where we need to reach some place off the beaten path, but the real time waste is the time it takes to reach Oribos. On one hand, flying would be nice as doing the daily tribute quests is just a chore, no immersion or effort from my part other than hopping on a flight master. On the other, it wouldnāt solve the issue with quests taking you through loading screens masked as riding the soul rivers, having to literally waste 10 minutes to reach Bolvar, speak to him, initiate dialogue you really donāt need to listen to to understand what is going on (We need to save X from the maw, thatās been the case for 2 months now), then loading screen for the maw, then run to the Torgast entrance, then load again, and pick a layer. If it was formulaic, going from A to B would be fun, it would have an illusion of being new and adventurous. In classic, going from Elwynn to Westfall is simply A to B, but you donāt know what that place holds for you, and the second and third time you might do it with an alt, thereās the new feeling of going there as a previous master of the zone, and knowing where the rares are and how to handle packs. Difference between doing it 2-3 times, versus 120. The illusion is shattered.
ItĀ“s funny to see how people are having totally different preferences. I am exactly the opposite - this is the first expansion since Wotlk that I enjoy and that I actually recommended to friends to play.
I was actually waiting so long to get rid of those annoying flying mounts and I am really enjoying having to use ground mounts. E.g. when recently doing the epic world quest in Maldraxxus with my fresh 60 character I enjoyed that I actually had to get there first which wasnĀ“t really easyā¦ With account-wide flying mount you just fly to avoid all the danger right to the boss, kill it and then off you goā¦ I really find it very boring with flying mounts that allow you to avoid most of the world and you just land to get that Q item or mining nodeā¦ from my perspective itĀ“s just not MMORPG anymore if you can avoid the worldā¦
itĀ“s just not MMORPG anymore if you can avoid the worldā¦
Well nobody is forcing you to use a flying mountā¦ you can just use the ground mount if that is what you prefer.
Well nobody is forcing you to use a flying mountā¦ you can just use the ground mount if that is what you prefer.
Yeah great ideaā¦ I will spend 10 minutes fighting my way to the node and just when I get there, another player flies in and takes it just in front of meā¦ I guess we all know that if all people cheat, you have no option but cheating too but that does not really mean you are enjoying itā¦ So if flying becomes a thing in Shadowlands, I will use it too or quit the game. There is no other viable optionā¦
False. Nodes stay for minutes after being mined, and if you spend 10 minutes fighting for the node, only to get it and sell the ore for 10 gold at the AH, then the issues are elsewhere.
