I was just wondering why people can’t transfer a character between the PvP Spineshatter to PvE Thunderstrike, I get the other way around but you could do it in vanilla. Basically I have a limited time to play compared to my family, we started levelling on the PvP realm Spineshatter which I love but got too heavy for the people I play with so they left for Thunderstrike PvE. All I’d like to see is the transfer option from the PvP to the PvE there is no loss here in my opinion, only a gain for Blizzard. Thanks for reading.
No reasoning was given, but it’s likely because the Classic transfer tokens could be also used for Anniversary realms so they disabled it entirely.
Yes and no, it was very late Vanilla like some time before TBC that cross-type transfers were enabled. The Era/SOD could transfer between the types too some while later/directly. I think after Blizzard re-enables transfers again for Anniversary (The Classics) you may be able to do this but it may take awhile.
They can just add the transfer for these realms, not allowing for others.
I’m in a similar situation, I started on the PvP realm, but people I played with quitted the game. Now it is far more frustrating and I don’t want to waste hours because Blizzard doesn’t allow the transfer for no reason. I mean… i would pay and it’s not tragic for the game balance. Mental health of players is much more important in my opinion.
At this time I prefer stay on retail or play something else to be honest.
