Dead server ??? Omg i think you didnt log on PvP cluster to say its dead xD ! Lot of Raid going on, lfg is full of donjons finders, world pvp is lot of better, lot of people can be find by questing … the worst thing is AH price absurd but Stop ask bs and stay on your dead wotlk classic .
Its true Era has gotten a boost in players lately, mostly due to Som closing its servers.
This however might seem disruptive to Era community since these transfers are bis geared and bring alot of gold with them.
This in turn ofc brings things like GDKP too and from what I gather there is alot of pushback on this

Era servers are pretty much alive. Log in, check the cities out, and if you happen to see me online, please /w for a chat. I am always available.
But if you want a stiff, full stress, meta rat race, it may not be for you lol
Still, there are a lot more people these days who agree with the premise. So let them be?

There is one thing dead and is not era….guess what is.

It would simply be an infinite loop of people asking for fresh all the time since there would be people thinking the first iteration without that content would be the best version of fresh.
These servers we have now aren’t dead compared to what the classic scene was before 2019 and Nost. Having peak 1000 players (in total) was considered a huge server. You don’t need megaservers to enjoy this game!

I don’t think it’s fair to call Era “Dead”, but I think a lot more people need to hit 60 to make the end-game scene more alive. I’ve only been here for a bit but the trade chat is pretty quiet on Firemaw. Like it’s friday evening and I can’t find a single raid to join in LFG. I assume it will get better with time though.

Firemaw is definitely alive mate - But as you say, the more levelers that hit level 60, the better for the level 60 scene.
Low levels are thriving, on the other part.
Very true, im currently lvling, and right now, theres 137 ppl online in the guild. the highest ive seen is 209 last week. ERA popping off

Do you know how is the pug/LFG scene on Horde side? I’ve been a bit turned off from alliance because I see the same GDKP spam from one or two people there.
I don’t like guilds I kind of like to just PuG. I did sign for something through discord but I am looking for a busier LFG channel, maybe that will come in time I am also thinking of checking out horde side
That’s just the new normal these days, sad imo, but that’s just how it is. Unless blizzard makes it against TOS i don’t see it stopping. I assume it’s the same on both Horde and Alliance.
It’s definitely not the norm on EU realms, and if people still think they can organize/join GDKPs without consequences, well the’ll be in for a surprise since normal players can still take advantage of the totally fair options the game offers, especially wpvp.
Phase 2 will be nothing compared to what will happen if they expect to piss off an entire realm with their retail-ish affairs.
There a few guilds that organize weekly MC/BWL pugs runs, also another guild organizing an AQ pug and a running Naxx pug at the moment on horde.
Feel free to hit me up in-game whenever you see me and I can link you my guilds discord where you can join the weekly MC/BWL pug that has been running for ages now.
