No they will not reboot or restart classic WoW, It will either be stuck on P6 forever or it will move on to TBC.
It would satisfy a certain niche minority that really enjoys that P1-2 feeling, but I have doubts whether Activision will bother.
Not for another decade or more, that’s for sure. And if I struggle hard enough with KT in the upcoming weeks, and then finally kill him, exhausted and slightly disgusted, then probably never ever again.
I always thought we are on the fast track to TBC:C as a financial inevitability, but after that tweet they recently posted and deleted, I think it’s 50:50 whether they just leave Classic as is to slowly fade into nothingness, or just upgrade all servers to TBC with no recourse or caveats.
