So… what about another update Blizzard?
i keep getting stuck loop at initializing
and the logs show the following traces:

I also have the same problem. Wanted to play yesterday evening, about 16 hours ago. I am now at work writing this, and it seems the problem is still continuing? Guess I don’t have to rush home today?

Sounds like us pre-orders still can’t play what we paid for! Great!
Updated my game yesterday morning it was fine and at night i got another update i tried everything except vpn still stuck at initializing. This morning after 15hours still trying to update but nope. Still isn’t fixed
I just randomly closed bnet and opened again it downloaded for me and my friend.
Mine was open all night, did a pc restart this morning and have been updated and logged in, managed to create an evoker ready for when I finish work.
Might be worth restarting pc to see if it helps if your still struggling.

Still not working, I had to start WoW from the folder again. Which means it’s not even about having anything to update, it’s just stuck on initializing for an eternity.
For me the update finally got installed, but now it says it needs to update and scan&repair again… and giving me the same error as before.
It is working for me. I’m playing the game since the morning 
Game was working for me till this morning, broke after. Same issue as reported by people above.
seems to work now. got passed initializing, dl and everything else
I updated yesterday evening, i thought it was fixed but now i have another update and still stuck on innitlazing… again…
Just managed to get mine working now, changed my region to Asia on the launcher and back to EU and it started downloading. Doing that last night didn’t work but it worked now for some reason.
Where i can change the region?
Menu at top left of launcher and log out, you’ll then see a cogwheel above your email address box and you click it and change your region. Type your password in and log in, then log out and swap your region back again to EU.

After 22 hours still not working i tried everything. Strange thing is all other downloads are working completely fine.
