My game is now stuck on scan & repair loop. Tried deleting the whole game but it just gets stuck on initializing… great to come back to this mess again after a long workday… great 90 euro purchase
Same here deleted wow and tryed to download it. Stuck on init => Manifest => Init => Manifest and repeat
BLIZZARD… Please! I’ll be home in half an hour, can I play the game or not? I reinstalled my computer last night. There is no trace of an old installation and yet on my new clean computer I get that message: “Whoops….”. the game just does NOT install itself. I get really pissed off!
What’s faster? Drive to you with a USB DISK to get a copy of the game? Or your solution? Please, enlighten me…

This stuck-on initializing loop is sending me up the wall. I feel like I’ve tried everything and yet I’m still waiting. Yesterday after work I waited 8 hours because of this initializing bs. Heres me thinking today would be different, what a joke.
Close bnet and do it in task manager too. Use windscribe VPN to change to New York serveres. Open Bnet, switch to Americas. Log in, the game finish updating. That worked for me yesterday and it worked again just now. I hope this helps!

Did you delet the game in the blizzard app by uninstalling or you located the game folder and delete the whole folder? If you delet the game in blizzard app it maybe left some files wich can be corrupted(UI settings/ addons or somthing)
Done absolutely everything. even through Regedit etc. Still no dice .
Will have to wait and see if a solution pops up , sooner rather than later I hope.
I’ve tried closing all blizzard processes in task manager, rebooting with power disconnected, deleting the gamefolder, the blizzard games folder in %ProgramData%, changing to all the regions, used vpn from anywhere from antarctica to us (west/east) to asia, still don’t get past "Initializing (2145363/2145363)
A full 24 hours later and still no update… Are they working on it or just ignoring it?

Like you guys and girls, I too have failed to make any progress, I have tried all the methods contained within this forum post. It does not get passed Initializing (2145363/2145363) and then loops between Initializing and Initializing (2145363/2145363). Waiting for Blizzard to fix this. I am really disappointed, I paid the subscription to play the Dracthyr before launch, I’ve now lost all day yesterday and all day today, meaning its less time to play Dracthyr, less time to do the new dungeon and cannot even do the Elemental event. I hope Blizzard will compensate the people experiencing this bull crap.

It’s bad enough not being able to log-in for 48 hours, but no communication from Blizzard in 24 hours is disgraceful - I’m a paying customer!
Not only can I not play WoW, I can’t play Hearthstone because of the same problem - the game refuses to update.
For the record, I’m one of those for whom Battlenet tries to update the game but then just gets stuck in an eternal “scanning game files” loop.

been stuck in scanning game files since yesterday morning, Nothing is working so far and I’m not deleting 90GB of Data which I maybe not been able to re-download with this damn prob
Luckily I had good internet so I can delete the game without any problems (I have to delete the game 3-4 times to get it to work) but with this pre-launch patch that’s the big problem, I’m afraid what will be the real launch, I hope you all get a solution.
