Show me any mmorpg without paytoskip. Spoiler - you won’t see any. You will see boosting for any competitive game also. You can even buy champions with real money in league or legends and or but dota+ in dota and say “it’s pay to win”. There are 3rd party services for every game in this world. It doesn’t make all games pay to win. You can’t be competitive in most free to play mmorpg without money. You can have all everything in wow without any single gold token. That’s the difference.
as I said, it would be much nicer to have stronger knowledge and mechanic skill than to pay someone 500k gold for BoE

You can earn that gold in various ways and spend it to progress your character. Still a core aspect of mmorpgs.

Ye u can buy LoL champ…but it will not help you play his mechanics 
that mean you are still sh*t …but in WoW you pay at start of expansion BoE and u are stronger…even with one Spell or autoattack

tell me how a new player farms 250k only for enchants /gems/sockets to START the expac playing on competitive level?
vs a player that has/donated for gold?
while there is a token in the game ,and player power is behind gold,the game is pay to win.
remove token and ok,its a normal mmo.

You can also just play the game and have the same as that real money paying dude. Check Diablo immortal that is pay to win and compare it with wow:)

This is the case for PvP right now, which I agree with, and some are complaining about it. Your suggestion would eliminate vertical progression and most people cannot do anything in their pathetic lives unless they have a very obvious carrot in front of their face.
Therefore, while I agree with you on principle, as I am all about less vertical progression and more horizontal progression, keep in mind this would also kill the game.

I made 2.3 mil in the first week of DF mainly farming marks for obsidian rep which you can sell on ah. They were worth more than 2k each in the beginning, so it’spretty easy to farm gold. Various other ways on top of that.

Do new player really need top enchants so hard to start playing? Is lvl 2 enchant instead of lvl 3 - wall for content?

no you wont,you cant craft enchantments,craft sockets,craft pvp boots and helmet,at the start of the expac yourself you allucinating xD

Buy doing dungeons. I just did 2 dungeons (~10 min each) on my warrior and it made me 20k gold. Also, the new player is not going to be on any competitive level anyway. The play is new. Got no skills, no knowledge, there are people with over a decade experience. He is not just gonna get close to those guys because of gear lmao 
I honestly didn’t meet a single play who bought his gear and performed somewhat close to what he should. A donkey with an armor is just what it is… a donkey with an armor.

That’s actually a good point. People act like lvl 2 and 3 enchantments are that huge of a difference I even got a lvl 2 enchantment and it didn’t hold me back yet, I am wondering how p2w could fail so hard on me

Not true.
Just do WQs and gather mats in-between. I personally make 1k gold every 5 minutes by just doing that. Nothing hardcore, nothing time consuming. This equals to 12k gold per hour of casual farming FYI.
Assuming you have 1-3 hours to play per day this is approximately more than 24k gold per day. So in one week you are making more gold than what a sucker would buy with real life money.

1 dungeon was nhc, one hc. Two bags, eight stones = 20k+ gold
In 20 mins. Gotta read properly.
But I can… I also can even farm enough gold in hours for lvl 3 and start of expansions with that high costs for maths is the best time for it. I don’t see sense in them at the moment for me. I will buy them when they are cheaper. I don’t have any problems without them at the moment and I won’t.
