I like to watch people doing the same content as myself but at a higher level so I can learn from them.
Because gaming addiction continues even when not gaming. The addicted get dopamine from watching others play what they want/could play

I have seen streams over the years but only the finished ones that are put up on YT, they pop up naturally in the recommended videos when you watch a lot of wow stuff. They are 20 times out of 10 extremely annoying and think they are the coolest thing in the entire world, just can’t stand people with that type of ego mindset. And then some of them are waaay to happy, like it’s not even normal to be that happy, it’s ridiculous. My most hated person in the world, through all of the human history and that I wish everything bad upon is Taliesin. Most annoying, fake smiling, eyebrow moving person I have EVER seen.
The bar is pretty low if Taliesin is your most hated person in the world. I’m not defending him but there are a lot worse people in this world.
I enjoy watches pvp streamers, top players make it look like chess. It feels so classy 
No it isn’t. That man is the worst thing to have ever happened to our world.
I mean…yes and no? Some of the streamers strike me as the kind of person who would eat the chess pieces and break the board over their opponents head.
Why? Just interest what makes a guy with an online presence and some opinions is worse then some of the horrific people that live in our world.

I know who he is, however you’ve not said much other than he’s who you consider the worst person in the world and I was intrigued as to why. 
Who do you watch? I mean I watch Xaryu, he is pretty chilled out, I also watch Tiqqle because of shaman content.
Both these are laid back in streams.
Sometimes soulscape too.
Yeah T & E just refuse to do any content without their extremly obvious false enthusiasm.

Well why do you enjoy seeing 11 grown men kick a ball between two iron posts when you could just go play in a league down the road yourself?

Well the best example would be Crusader.
Idk they’re fun to watch it’s not complex or anything.
Maybe people are in transport and have no access to game, so they watch streamer playing. Maybe others want to see what other player are doing and how they are doing. Or they want to know what other player think about X or Y content.
No idea, I do not look at any wow streamers and find some really annoying.
Sense of community.
Something to listen to / background music.
Perfect “2nd monitor” content.
Usually the talking points are related to the game they’re playing, which is obviously of interest to you since you’re watching them play it.
It’s decent entertainment at times. I like watching dudes likes Payo and Esfand. Payo can be a clown at times but he’s hilarious
Some ppl dont have the time or money to invest in a game so they rather watch a stream, check it out and maybe in a future they become players, or just for the entertainment, I usually have a streamer off screen whie playing.
