Wowhead is trash

If they don’t want people to interact with it, people shouldn’t be allowed to post on it. It’s a very weird way of painting one narrative.

tik tok is dangerous

So, out of curiosity, what part of voicing your hatred of taliesin is constructive to wowheads objective of providing information about the game?

I mean this isn’t like stating that you hate the death knight development and hope that a sensible path forward with runic empowerment removed from the game will emerge through it.

I have to admit I never watch any of that kind of content on Wowhead, I use it mainly as a news/information source and only if it’s in written format.

I’ve rarely ever commented elsewhere on the site. I have no idea how strict they are.

Oozing with soy is a euphemism for their political leanings and the behavior around such.

I wouldn’t call one annoyed by bs content on there that.

Personally, I rarely read anything they post because it’s all short trash articles. I’d prefer longer format.

I mostly use them as a db for quests and items, their non wow news irritates me. I don’t care about Diablo, thanks.

it’s their website, if they want to play god complex with comments, let them, but when they start barring access to information for whatever reason, then we have a serious problem.

People saying just scroll by and don’t comment if you aren’t interested can’t take their own advice

I only use Wowhead as a database for quest info. The rest of it is exactly the same as IcyVeins, even the class guides are written by the same people just slightly different wording. Wouldn’t surprise me if they were partner sites

Cleaning up? Sounds good.

If you don’t like a particular person’s content, there’s a simple answer. Don’t look at it. You’re not obligated to look at every piece of content a site publishes. Just look at what you do want to see and ignore what you don’t. Simple.

I use wowhead because it’s a good database, wowdb exists but it doesn’t compare when it comes to useful user comments on items/quests etc. as well as useful guides.

I used to like Taliesin, and then he suddenly went insane levels of toxic for no blasted reason - and now I don’t.

He used to be funny and rational and just the right amount of formulaic to enjoy.

Such a shame.

As far as WoWHead is concerned, I wish it didn’t exist anyway. It’s killing WoW’s sense of discovery and it’s doing tremendous harm to the culture of just asking and getting help from one another. It’s a blight upon the game. I hope it gets shot from orbit by an Ion ( ) cannon.

I wouldn’t say it’s trash. Rather cheesy. And I like that.

Ehm… why do you think they write them… for the good of humanity.

Most criticism borders harassment online, any decent employer should protect their employees from it.

It’s like feedback for the game, most is just rage, not actual feedback.

All their authors and admins are politically active on Twitter and ofcourse they have to force this crap down onto us. They’re hypocrites and I wish someone had the mission to create a replacement site.

wowdb exists but as long as people use wowhead it will stay in its shadow. The database is practically the same but it lacks all the user comments gathered through the years about bugs and availability and what not.

Who cares about that, 95% of all people go there for info about the game. For quests farming items, news about upcoming content.

Nobody sane uses wowhead as a place of discussion

So its not a big loss, just move on. In the end its a private platform and they can ban whoever they like.

His voice and overly bubbly atmosphere turned me off.

Weird never had an issue with adds on wowhead

Tbh why is talisien so popular anyway? His wow content is pretty annoying and mediocre, and he doesnt make that much content either. The only reason i think people might like him is because he was in vox machina or something. I might be wrong here.

Also im suprised this topc isnt filled with people whining about “But muh freedom of speech” while not knowing the meaning of it.

Thing is I dont like him but dont really care. I am not subbed to him etc but appreciate others do and he has a right to go about his business.

My problem is that when I give that feedback (for contect the word I used was idiot - once. That was it) that I dont like seeing this content I was almosts straight away issues a warning. As far as I am aware, calling someone an idiot once isnt really that big a deal. And tbh lots of people were complaining about him. But still thats neither here nor there.

Deleting comments you dont agree with is just then painting a narrative of something that isnt true. And the problem with that is that wowhead is the only place we can really go.

So yeh thats it. This article is about wowhead, not him.
