it’s all good, i’m just glad that you are adimitting that you only enjoy the game’s content when it’s convenient for you and has nothing to to do with others people experience of the game, sitting afk in dala and then sniveling on the forums about not doing anything ingame
dunno where do you get your conclusions, but i do actually play the game when there are things to do. like right now spamming BGs for more honorable kills. bloodthirsty title wont farm itself. 
maybe you should try to argue with players who are raid logging weekly for 2-3 hours then not playing the game. ask them why they are not online most of the time.
Poeple who say playerbase is fragmentad are braindead 1OO%. When will you understand that no era means no sub - even less players! So is it better players fragmented < no players by your braindead logic?

Speak for yourself. To me, personally, WoW peaked with TBC. WotLK was still good, but everything went downhill since and Cata started the tendency of WoW becoming a joke of an MMO. I know many don’t agree with me, but I also know many players who want the Old Worlds untouched, so that they can roam them in peace without having all the changes (mechanics as well as geographical) made by Cata shoved in their faces. That being said, I’d take a WotLK Legacy cerver over Cata anytime (since a TBC Legacy is out of the question, by now).

While I really have no particular opinion about this entire matter, I will say Classic Era or SoD are preferable if you are deeply attached to the old world, since it genuinely is utterly dead in Wrath for all practical intents and purposes.
Even in Phase 1, before the advent of RDF that made leveling through dungeon spam significantly more convenient and desirable, you could’ve easily gone for hours in the 1-60 range without running into another person. Emphasis mine: person, bots leveling paladins excepted.
Given people’s tendency to form A/H superservers (leaving little but crickets in old A/H zones) and the fact any permanent Wrath server would certainly include the RDF and potentially even permanent Joyous Journeys (as is currently live) to expedite your journey to Northrend, concerns about the old world may be misplaced.
I think you already have versions of Classic that deliver on that in a much more meaningful way- no heirlooms, a greater emphasis on questing over mindless satchel farming in random dungeon queues, and an actual population in the old zones because there’s no expansion to obviate them.

I leveled 8 lv.80s during late p1 and p2, and in that I only saw a couple of people total during leveling, and saw no natural dungeon groups for leveling content.
That was on a megaserver.

Many people don’t mind Cata, (They’ll play, but they if given the choice they’d remain on Woltk) alot of people hate it, and minority actually likes and is hyped for it. “See utter silence at the Blizzcon cata announcment.”
So yeah it would mean the utter death of Cat

Wotlk is not classic either… anything after vanilla is not classic.
Considering WOTLK is inferior to Cataclysm in every way, this is a bad idea. Permanent WOTLK realms will only further split up the already shrinking WoW classic population.
