Is this or can this be made available for season of mastery? I can’t see it being detrimental to the game in anyway and just gives new content for us twink lovers?
It could mean we can set our “end game” ceiling at whatever twink level and grind dungeons for my gear without leveling (same as at lvl 60) rather than relying on boosts to gear before leveling out of a certain bracket

Never.
Twinking is for losers who just want to 1 shot leveling toons.
When xpoff bgs started we saw that. No twink wanted to play against other twinks.
Go retail for twink vs twink bgs. Oh wait. 0 game there. Brave twinks dont show up for fair matches.
Again, twinks for losers who cant win in equal conditions.

NOt a hope. You just want to bully other player sin PvP. To me this is griefing!
Twinking is no different to gearing at level 60 in my eyes, if your a t3 or rank 14 lvl 60
You are a twink. Except I don’t have time to gear at level 60 For the 10th time so gearing at a lower level is a ceiling no different to gearing at 60.

Not even close. You enjoy bullying level 19s, 29s and under with the best EQ, being run through dungeons to get the best items, the best enchants, including head and leg versions. This is griefing, and to me, should only ever be allowed if it is twink v twink. But you wouldnt want that, as you do not have the ability to act like a boss and farm non-twinks. That is bullying!

The whole point of asking for XP freeze is so I don’t get boosted. It means I can run SM as much as I want for my gear (for example) the same way you may run MC as much as you want. How is me stopping my journey at 39/49/59 and gearing any different to a full Time player farming naxx for t3 then coming and “griefing” my lvl 60 that I only have time to gear up in 5 man dungeons?
If high lvl enchants are the problem then level cap them, I am not trying to be over powered, I just want to have my “end game” content achievable without getting a level 60 to boost me so I get the gear before I level to high, and play in that level zone with best in slot, same way you may pvp in your 60 best in slot

If you really need the difference explained to you, you are either playing stupid, or just blinkered.

Well xp it’s reduced with a 60 I’n the group so I’m going to twink and gear up either way, as this is how I play the game. I would just rather I could do 5 man dungeons in the lower level and gear up the same as a 60 would, rather than rely and mates who are lvl 60 to run me through in 5 mins. This gives more Players far more content.
Now, if you really need the difference explained to you, you are either playing stupid, or just blinkered.
Like others have said, your argument is old. However, as soon as twinks were matched with other twinks it all died down and the argument were shown to be hollow. No, you should not be able to XP freeze and bully levelling players.

Feeling powerful is fun.
That’s the reason any one plays the game, to get gear and feel poweful.
“Twink” is just the easy mode version of feeling powerful, takes less time than end game gearing.

Obviously…
If you don’t feel powerful while doing it, you might as well PvP on your max level character.
I don’t think it was that obvious. They were pretty organized, they made their case well and many of them even advocated for twinks only playing other twinks. “You think that you do but you don’t.”-kinda thing.

The concept just sounds dumb to me.
Why not just play max level PvP then?
The entire point of twinking (at least. what i thought was the point) was to roflstomp any one and any thing.

See, a bully in a game. Are you bullied in real life, so have to find some excuse to return the favour in a game? Just pathetic, no other word for it!

I’m not taking their position, just repeating the argument made btw. So they made a case for spells being different at their level, which supposedly made them enjoy the game more. Certain very powerful combinations were not available at that level, like 21/8/22 for rogues as an example. Also, weapons are pretty limited at a range so that the best is usually just something you farm in a dungeon. At max level you’ll never reach Naxx quality gear if you’re in a certain guild. Twinking kinda make sthat possible.

It didn’t die in Classic.
I twinked in 49 and 59 bracket for the majority of Classic when not raiding on my main on numerous alts - I also achieved R14 on my alt which started as a twink but achieving rank 11 while still in the 59 bracket had it’s advantages (epic mount at 59) until I moved on to 60 to finish the grind and gain R14.
The majority of games I played was twink v twink as people who entered WSG/AB knew what to expect those who entered while leveling didn’t normally stay in the bracket for long. The problem occurs when it’s Twink v Twink pug games and one sides dominates that leads to the faction getting dominated to form a pre made and that’s when people start losing interest. Personally that’s why I like twinking because I don’t have to pre made because in the lower brackets there isn’t many pre mades running compared to the amount you’ll encounter at max level.
There is nothing wrong with it - if people want to put the effort in to farm dungeons with friends for the best items or farm gold to buy the best items and enchants then what is wrong with that? Even when I’m leveling characters and not playing BG’s I always like to have the best gear available to me to see those crits and big numbers and be able to solo quests I otherwise might not have been able to do alone.
It’s an RPG that’s the whole point of the game and it’s not as though other players cannot do the same thing. It’s also a viable way to rank and grind reputation and if you plan to play a lot of PvP whilst leveling then why not do it in the best gear available?
How is that true? Twinking was bigger than ever when XP lock was introduced back in WotLK, separate bracket did its job.
You can’t say such harsh words to twinks while at the same time gating them from having their fun time in segregated sphere that has no impact to normal progression characters.
People will find excuses for every QoL change, its called having conservative views, has nothing to do with how bad/good that change will turn at the end.
Cause its fun to build BiS for each bracket and collect crucial pieces that could take weeks and months to come around, and I absolutely disenjoy twink vs non-twink combat, what I enjoy is a concept of completely min/maxed character, and who puts more effort wins, twinking simply adds depth into the game, not really hard concept to grasp.
Can do the same thing at max level

why not both? also I can clearly see a person with limited time staying in 10-19 / 20-29 braket for a while, doing low lvl dungeons for bis and having a good time in less competitive scene.
