He largely gets by because “that’s just Boris” is a frequent moniker of him as a quitessentially english buffoon who “means well, but may phrase things a bit poorly”. The truth I suspect is he is really neither of those things but uses this perception of him to absolve himself of any blame for decisions he takes that go poorly. If there’s one thing I can lament our country for it’s that we have a blind spot where quintessentially British things are concerned and he absolutely plays upon that with how he chooses to deliver his garbage and stuff.
He’s a very interesting one. He hid inside a fridge to avoid talking to the press once.
Anyway i won’t derail by talking about him anymore, OT Pelagos is not a problem aside from the horrendous balance of the soulbind. Gender stuff = no issue.
I was so sure that this topic would had been about soulbind balance.
I did not expected it to be about how magical worlds give people options that we do not have irl.
This is a just a magical reincarnation which is completely different imho from anything we have irl and their lobbies.
I do not know if you are into any japanese anime/manga but it is a pretty common theme in reincarnation stories (though it is usually some dude being reborn into a girl than the opposite).
Is this still a thing? I remember it was a thing in vanilla.
I cannot imagine being so sexually deprived that I literally have to make the character I play in a video game sexually attractive to me in order to play. That is just tragic if that’s still the case for some people.
Equally so if people do it for the reason of “well staring a guy’s butt all game is kinda…gay” Like they’re just pixels. How do these people manage to watch television or films where somebody might do something like eat a hotdog or banana at a moment’s notice?
My point is more the people who state that the reason they play female characters as opposed to guy ones is because of some reason pertaining to the idea that “it’s kinda gay to play a guy character as a guy, because their backside is in view all the time”.
If you simply like female characters, fair play. I have characters of both genders and i’m a bloke. I don’t make them female because of the above reasoning however. I just like variety in my char models.
I consider it a human-created explanation for things they weren’t able to explain.
And because most humans are stupid, no offense, it stuck.
It was an easy solution. And humans tend to like easy solutions (see the horrible statements in this thread for proof).
There is no god. God is just as real as The Jailer. And the writing on both of them is equally credible.
It is. But not always for the sinister reasons being implied.
I myself play a female character. Why? Because I want to use the name ‘Tahra’ for my main character and that name just sounds female to me.
As for my alts; they are all over the place. I pick what I think fits my fantasy for that particular character. And with the new sex-change at the barber, I can now change them around and try new stuff. Wonderful!
I am a guy that plays a mix of both male and female characters depending on race, not for any sexual reasons at all. But mostly what I feel suits well with the class and some male models and their animations look silly to me, like human males are too big and chunky, night elf males are rather bouncy when they are running.
My dear, Tahra. the point of that post wasn´t to say such thing exists or not. I’m showing these people who grew up in a Christian culture that there are no gender in the non-physical world. the western world are only like this because of the core cultural belief we grew up in.
and those who are changing are called snowflakes by these people.
