You think you have seen it all

Again, there have never existed a separate queue for solo players in any battleground in this game ever. It’s absurd to ask for this in Classic that is a recreation of 2006 World of Warcraft.

There was never layering, now there is, its not absurd.

Additionally, content was never cleared this fast, things change.

Layering is absurd. Don’t you think layering is absurd in Classic? It’s ruining the game. Is that your argument. Layering? Seriously?

As someone who has spent months twinking in the 49 bracket I would tell you to go play in that bracket. Yes, you get queue syncers and semi pre mades occasionally but a lot less than the more popular brackets like 19, 29 and 39. The power difference between a twink and someone decked out in dungeon gear isn’t all that massive and you can twink most classes for cheap except perhaps casters.

Whats wrong with a seperate queue with 0 honor and 0 rep rewards?

Lucky me.

As often as people trash talk me, monkeyboy.

That isn’t trash talking, it’s a serious and legitimate response. If you want fair play, if you want balance, go to retail.

I don’t care about what you want. If you ever bothered reading anything I’ve said, you’d notice that I already taught you how to block someone.

Then don’t premade. But stop crying about people that do want to premade.

Of course they would, because solo queue would be easy honor; as I’ve already said.

Here’s some advice Monkmate, and I seriously suggest you consider it. You can do any of the following.

  1. Join a premade.

  2. Don’t BG Wednesday-Sunday, that’s when people are hardcore grinding. If you want a relaxed / chilled out game, you’re more likely to find it on a Monday or a Tuesday.

  3. Wait. Once AQ and Naxx are out, the honour gear is no longer BiS. Once that gear is BiS, less people will be hardcore premading and battlegrounds will once again feel more like Vanilla: Random people popping their cooldowns and one shotting each other.

  4. Complain and achieve nothing, other than further aggrovate yourself when you realise that not everybody shares the same mindset at you.

I’d recommend a mix of 2 and 3, personally.

Layering is a positive change because people have jobs, we can’t sit in massive queues or we would never play!

That’s not the only 2 options though.

I don’t really use forums but I just had a read and it literally is the same people defending premades with the same argument of go play retail xD

You should care about the health and longetivity of the game!

We do and that’s why we argue against changes! We all know what happens when Blizzard implement changes to this game.

Neither of us are defending premades, we’re all against changes and the catastrophic consequences that follow.

If you can’t read past the words “go to retail”, than that’s your problem and you should; as we say:

Go to retail.

As should you. Instead of demanding that Blizzard create and alter systems just to benefit yourself.

Adapt to the game, it wont adapt to you.

Sooo there werent any changes at all? Kekw.

Ok boomer

Go to retail xD xD just proving my point xD

There werent any good changes. There were bad changes to try and fix the results of even more bad changes.

Just wading in here.

It’s great that WoW classic is staying as true to its original as it can, but it absolutely should ‘fix’ issues if they are a problem now and weren’t before.

If there are things that are ruining people’s enjoyment, they should be fixed, even if that goes against what happens back in the day.

People are playing the game differently, and that’s great, but that means serious thought needs to be given to how people are exploiting certain parts of gameplay and mechanics, and need to be sorted out.

I’m all for changes to mechanics if it overall improves my experience, rather than stubbornly clinging on to my ideals.

Just my two cents as a old-school player and someone who is enjoying Classic currently.

The problem then it that your fix ruins somebody else’s enjoyment.

Furthermore, the problem you have with modern Classic is the way that people play it. There is absolutely no possible change that could ever make people play the same way people did back when they were inexperienced and didn’t know what they were doing.

I’m not calling for people to go back to the way they played before, but if the majority of people can’t enjoy BGs because of an inbalance in matchmaking, surely a fix would benefit most people and extend the longevity of WoW Classic?

I personally don’t feel like a group of 10 people should be able to match against 10 random guys from different servers, it just feels off.

How do you know what the majority is?

Furthermore, what if this game wasn’t made for the majority of people? What if this game is a niche game with a niche community and was never meant to be something that you play casually with a random group of people that you’re never going to see again?

Do you remember these forums from before classic’s announcement? Where people would talk about all the Vanilla things they loved. Not one of them was “Vanilla was fair”. Not even close.

You make something fun and fair with a few minimal changes and you end up with a great product.

Not like we are asking for class changes or world changes or anything like that, simply asking that premades, don’t face randoms.

You can’t make an unfair game like Classic “fair”, it simply doesn’t work that way.

Furthermore, “fun” is subjective and so is “great”. What’re fun and great for you are dull and lame for somebody else.

And as I’ve said, your “simple” change has a long chain of consequences. As does every other change.
