Your character's IC Armor/Battlegear?

A meticuously crafted raiment of shadowcloth. Not only does it amplify the ease with which she weaves shadowy spells, but it also looks really spooky and keeps all the human paladins at a 20ft distance nine times out of ten.

The only thing worth mentioning would be her headpiece. She acquired it from a blacksmith who was selling accessories during a lunar festival many years ago. It is a decorative piece simillar to those worn by the sentinels. This one is made to delicatly resemble the face of an owl, its beak acting as the nose guard. The metal has been tempered and treated giving it a dark, almost black, matte finish.
Even thought the blacksmith beeing an skilled armorsmith, this piece was mostly ment to be decoratively and doesnt have the durability or the protection as those used by the sentinels. The plate is rather thin and fragile, and she can easily bend it back in tho shape as it tends to skew at times. She came to gift it to her mother and it hanged on her wall for a long time until Mindare one day picked it up as she had began her druidic training.

His most prices possession. Itza wears a blessed armor of Rezan. A golden set of Zandalari armor that has been enchanted/blessed/hexed up the wazoo to give him incredible protection against curses and other foul magic. The armor is covered in gilded feathers to make the armor look even more opulent than it already is.

Ashi most notably wears a suit of reinforced leather that is quite different from what you would expect from a DK.

As she almost always works alone and rarely if ever sees battlefield combat, heavy plate is not well-suited. Instead, she has opted for stealth and mobility. Her suit has a particular history; it is the late beastmaster Tugh’s final masterpiece, made from materials of unknown provenance and further specialised through enchantments.

Here is a picture of what it looks like. https://i.imgur.com/x7v2PiW.png The black tabard with no insignia is a remnant of the Shadow Corps days, and as that order may one day be reforged she has committed to keep wearing it.

And here is a picture of it being used in action, as Ashi helps with cleanup operations in the Ghostlands. https://i.imgur.com/FYtQAyI.jpg

Furthermore, Ashi has a very long background in the Thalassian military. She has always favoured the practical, and as a result wore solid plate throughout her career. This image depicts her as a junior officer a few thousand years ago.

Though this image is of unknown canonicity as it depicts a rather young Ashi and we have no idea how elf lifespans actually work. Thanks, Lorash.

I wear the traditional purple crystal christmas tree armour of my people. I like to annoy humans by telling them it’s older than their entire civilisation, this may or may not be true.

My Worgen Death Knight tends to wear heavy duty gear that he forges and smithies himself. Given he perfers to stay away from the Ebon Hold, this brings along a self-imposed challenge with a more limited supply of saronite, thusly, the man works with the ores he can find, and then reinforces with Saronite. More often than not, this means he tends to travel lightly, usually wearing leathers or cloths with a bit of plate underneath, with the intention of stealth and more agility. That is untill he forges himself a new set of armor, typically going for full on heavy duty plating and thick layering adding to the weight and heavy protection. He also tends to implement various ways to quickly shed pieces and discard said pieces of armor for more mobility.
Currently, he’s wearing this.

My Worgen Rogue has a bit of a liking to gold, and tends to throw the whole “stealth” thing out the window, perferring more deftness and swordplay. As such, he tends to go for flamboyant, over the top sets of reinforced leather, inlaid with gold. He is also never seen without his signature feathered hat.

Xiu’chii here, a former pirate, perfers function over form, with a tiny bit of flair. She wears protective leathers, fakes having to wear an eyepatch and carries weapons all over herself. Mostly tries to keep it light in order for ease of swimming when needed.

Lastly Zi’nanju, a Zandalari Bladeguard. Zi perfers easy functionality and protection over form, as such he wears a thin layer of chainmail under regular protective plate(using the LFR Uldir chestplate, legguards and gauntlets). The only exception to this rule is his helmet and shoulderguards, which he wears in devotion to his Loa Bwonsamdi. Definately form over function as these were designed to bare more the skeletal visage of his patron .(read: Lost Catacomb recolours from Pandaria raids.)

Nice.

Jasper’s gear is pretty much an ensemble of green and brown leather and some mail articles. There is no real particular story to his current gear (or the original green variant people might know me for) other than that it was a conscious choice for him to change to a green colour scheme after venturing north from Stranglethorn. Before Stranglethorn and the fall of Stromgarde his gear was a red and brown scheme of barbaric quality. The most enduring item of his inventory is his battered cloak which has served him well for years.

I’ve had a variation in outfits on occasion. In late Legion he sported a blackened scalemail with a fel absorption crystal salvaged from a basilisk named Felgazer. In DoW part 2 he had attire from his Troll hunting days, with the difference being his blade and helm taken from the tomb of an ancient highland warlord dating to pre-Arathor.

Two versions; version one involves the hunter T10 set which you’ll see me wearing in the armoury. It’s just generic leathers skinned from animals.

The alternative is armour made from bear bones & hide, there’s art of it but typical forums won’t let me post it.

The one thing that remains consistent between the two is Varien’s halberd called Stormcaller. It was created the same way Wildhammer stormhammers are forged; in the heart of a gryphon aviary, giving it the same lightning-based powers.

When the leaders of the Unseen Path chased their artifacts, Varien went to the Dwarves to earn their weapon.

You can post the art link between two`.

and it will looks like this . I’ll repost it so the image will appear here.

While I was planning on having a special set of armour forged IC for Luci, that has not yet been done, though if any IC blacksmiths are about! Hit me up!

His weapons, on the other hand, he had a collection of them, the main blade he uses is the one he carried to Outland, a Dark Iron crossguarded broadsword, covered from rip to hilt with arcane and holy text, acting both as decoration and enchantment, allowing great flexibility in its use. The pommel is of simple inornate design, the hilt however, appears composed of metal vines twisting into claws at each end. The blade itself appears deep black, but when enchantments are activated, depending on which ones, holy or arcane, the inscriptions can shine golden and or azure, cloaking the blade in a halo.

Been thinking of calling the blade “Midnight’s Light”.

After a very unfortunate encounter with the alliance in the Three Corners campaign where Rhaewon found himself abandoned by his supposed brother’s in arms, he’s opted for a more protective gear, always carrying a helmet instead of a hood. Leathers replaced with plate and scale where possible whilst still retaining the ability to move quietly. The theme of his armour is heavily based around mana wyrms which he uses to hunt down opposing force magic users, much like we see sunreavers do in isle of thunder with Kirin Tor forces.

Aside from wearing the most gorgeous, timelessly fashionable dresses, the good lady carries a fancy grimoire of profane research and the great Staff of Ixxas, a satyr crafted/corrupted staff which amplifies her (fel)fire spells.

A cheap, white/black suit.

My Priest believes that he should look presentable in the eyes of the public, whilst not wearing anything too expensive.

He frowns on Priests wearing finely made apparel because that’s money which could’ve gone to charity.

He never wears armour/battle-gear, he believes the Light will be his sword, shield and armour during combat.

On a more serious note than my previous reply (although it isn’t necessarily battlegear rather than items worn) , my character keeps a large collection of curios at her waist. These are all gifts, mementos, scavenged trinkets, jewelry, broken metals or other superstitious items. Roleplaying a character that seems to wallow in perpetual misfortune, I find that other players are very like to give something to help her on her way, which is often something enchanted.

Over time and after a twist of fate, she has started wearing the large sum of these items on her robes, and all these accumulated enchantments have become something she relies on heavily.

The awesome Kaiyela has captured it wonderfully in this piece

Light Orcish style leathers, along with a few pandaren style trinkets such as his belt, cowl and prayer beads! He had most of it made for him and looks similar to what he has in game! He’s gone from wearing army mail to a custom set of light gear that suits his mounted and mobile tactics, fast and agile. On foot he can move quickly to support allies, evade the enemy and deliver lightning strikes. And hell, i love me some spikey fang gauntlets and wolf fur for punching to death quilboar and footman alike. Ultimately he was intended to look like an Orcish Sohei (japanese) warrior monk.

(Massive mog overhaul inbound when i return in game though).
