and use a bug ?

Incoming : “It’s part of the vanilla experience!” Or something like that. But if they fix that, might as well fix all the weird pathing. Like BRD or ZF GY ones. And people will not like that. It hits their wallet.

But muh #nochanges.

This literally breaks the market by giving mages way more gold than every other class.
Pretty much everyone needs a level 60 mage at this rate ^^.

There are lots of things in game that are abused this way for example DM East farm which abuses mob pathing and has done since DM was released but I’ve heard 0 complaints about this and I’ve been active on the forums since launch - same goes for ZF farming and abusing “safe spots” and also “safe spots” in ZG that cause mobs to reset and evade which is the reason Bloodvine/Voodoo dolls dropped in price so drastically a week after release.

Should they change all of these farming methods or just this one? Or none at all?

Mages are completely ridiculous in Classic but no one wants anything changed and Blizzard won’t change any core part of the game. We knew what we was getting when they announced though which is a brilliant but also very flawed game.

The sad thing about the current state of Classic is that you NEED a mage alt unless you want to spend a silly amount of time farming on any class that isn’t a mage because no class comes close to their gold farming potential even hunters cannot compete whom I consider the second best gold farming class. Mainly due to the gold you can make boosting players which wasn’t really a thing in Vanilla and this alone destroys the leveling process of Classic. Remember when people was saying what a long drawn out process leveling was in vanilla and how it was much more challenging than retail? Well that didn’t age well, did it?

The problem with changing stuff like this and addressing the issues I listed is where do you draw the line?

#nochanges

…was about Modern Blizzard keeping their nasty furry talons away from the Code and not introducing Pokemon, KF Pandas, LFR, Sharding, Homogenization and Xmog into Classic.

Fixing bugs is fine.

If we can’t stop premades from exploiting PvP, this as as well shouldn’t be touched.

how can I be the most optimal and bestest in a 2005 game derp derp. Minmaxers and exploiters just make this game boring af. /Yawn

How exactly are premades in WSG/AB an exploit?
They were there 15yrs ago too, I was in one.

This exploit also existed in Vanilla? and many others… just that people didn’t openly talked about them.

Premading AB and WSG is not an exploit… It never was…

Depends on your sense of exploit. I couldn’t care less if someone farms 600 gold per hour, i do Care however to what is happening to premade exploits. It’s all a matter of perspective. What is a Exploit for you might not be for me and vice-versa.

I’m fine with it. Means we get mats cheaper on the AH when mages tank the prices.

How is premading in WSG and AB an exploit?
Please.
Explain.
