How is this a garrison table? It’s your character doing something with you at the keyboard doing it.
The reason the garrison gold-farming was mocked was because you got the resource for the missions for doing nothing, it just came to you. And then you used that resource to send minions out on timed missions.
Aka you logged in for 2 mins, sent them out and logged off.
This, while broken yes, is not even remotely the same.

But you need some gear for that kind of farming. At least full MC with enchants.
Ideally r14 or t2+.
So no, you just cant make mage alt with blues and run into zg aoeing.
Need some investment and commitment.
Every class can find its own advantages and its own special things to be best at.
Mages aoe gold farming
Locks dot kiting 52+ elite bosses and soloing many things with enslaved 63 elites
Hunters can do tons of things with perfect pet micromanaging (like fresh ZG nodes farming)
Priests can dominate pvp can always find spot in raids, no matter of spec
Warriors are usually guild masters and first getting legendaries and recepies
Rogues can pickpocketing elites open boxes and pick their PvP fights for 90% win chances
And so on…
Until we get to paladins which cant do sht atm (maybe trolling av/ab), and only thing they could farm was nerfed after 3 weeks.
Reckon was nerfed too and shadow oil proc broken.
So yeah, just delete paladins

Roll a mage , no offense this moaning is pointless
Roll a mage and go practice the farm yourself.
It’s difficult to learn and still punishing once you learn how to do it. If you mess up once that’s RIP.
If they fix this, they also have to change the way almost every mob paths in the game, and even then people will still be able to AOE farm on mage utilising CoC and blizz.
There were people in vanilla farming instances for profit. I used to watch paladin videos (Although I think Hobbs was tbc and not vanilla) do some crazy pulls for gold.
As a paladin, we do have some good farms btw, lashers are always decent money and paladins are always great on jump runs. With well optimised gear you can also boost/solo low dungeons pretty efficiently. Not in 1 pull like a mage, but I’ve been tightening up my boosts and have most SM’s down to 3-4 large pulls and I can 2 pull SFK. It’s fun to do too

Easily fixable. I’ll give some solutions:
- Add a charge + knockback to crocs.
- Add slow immunity to crocs.
- Add regulations to Mage spells…like druids have:
“Blizzard slow effect does not apply to elites in dungeons & raids” Boom! Have fun boosting anywhere…

How are groups exploiting pvp outside of AV?
As a group obviously.
Just put everyone that are more than 2 premade in their own queue.
Have fun trying to farm honor vs other premades or people the same rank as yourself.

Well I have done that same in League of Legends.
I have teamed up with 4 of the worlds top players in a premade group of 5. Farming scrubs that play solo until they give up - then we can keep killing them on their spawning location.
Exploit ? Maybe. Bad game design? Hell yes…
The issue is that I can’t do this while playing ranked, where I get rewards. I can only team up with 1 player close my rank. If I want to join as a team of 5…I play vs other teams of 5.
Classic obv doesn’t share this system. So people exploit that fact by joining as fully premade to easily get rewards…
You don’t seem to understand what exploit means or what Classic is.
Classic is a recreation of the 2006 gameplay systems. The system is working as intended and is an exact replica (in WSG/AB). No one is exploiting or circumventing any limitation. All you have is social groups of players playing group pvp content in a group.
An exploit is “ to take advantage of a flaw in a computer system”. Well, usually that is how you use that word in this context. It can also mean to make full use of.
I totally forgot about layering when I played a decade ago, I wish a knew about it.
Use whatever word you want; exploit, abuse…
We live in a min/max-culture and people will take advantage of it.

Are you aware that this have never existed in this game ever, to this day? Have you given it even a seconds thought about how it would affect ranking in Classic that is all about grind? How would it affect bots and afk leechers etc? It’s already pretty bad in AV.

Point was; if I join WSG / AB solo - I play vs people who also joined solo. I honestly don’t care about the grind. If you are skilled and high ranked, you should have an advantage in a solo queue ?
I’ll wait for the TBC arena QQ. When X class is super broken in arena compared to all other. When everyone will abuse that class to climb in rank.

I don’t know. There have never existed a solo queue in WSG/AB in this game. Vanilla pvp was never about skill anyway. It was about groups, grind, engineering and consumables. It’s an MMORPG and not an eSport.
Why do you use words like abuse and exploit when it’s not? People will USE things to their advantage, doesn’t mean it’s an abuse.

Well I enjoy it. I actually agree with most people except on the part that anything should be changed.
