AH add-ons that are ruining Classic

I mean…
At the moment i manually hold shift and seperate my items into pieces, sell them and profit of it.
Do i get a lot? I get more money than if i had sold stacks.
10x Copper ore = 5s in good days.
1x Copper ore = 0.65c
So i earn 6s 50c when i sell singles.

But again, i just commented on this topic cause its just generalising.

I am one of those who sells in AH singles instead of stack, i spend time on leveling, an hour before i log-out i spend time selling without any help of an add-on since its more fun.

Its just to draw attention that not everybody is AddOn user, i do manual work and i feel sad for people thinking its addon’s fault the AH is not stable atm.

I would say people should learn to accept it, i literally DO NOT see problems with people using addon, nothing ruined anything for me in any way or shape.

I agree. Blizzard should look into this. I hope they break the API that allows AH addons to post so many single stacks.

If you can’t beat them. Join them right hehe

I do agree on removing ah addons tho no need for them.

Unsure why the add-ons can’t just put up 20-stacks to begin with?
They’d earn the same amount adding it up in the end after all.

I’ve always found that the items it happens on are things not worth selling anyway. Wool cloth? lol, everyone has it.

It’s a choice im sure, they are putting up many as single stacks because people without addons will look through every page of it.

Their audience for selling is other people with the addon.

For many people its considered a standard addon you shouldnt be without

But if they worked with 20-stacks they would be able to sell better to both those with and without the add-on no?

Maybe I’m missing something here

These purists and their whining… damn snowflakes

You can choose the size that the stacks should have. Therefore it is possible to enter full stacks. It is the players that prefer to enter the stuff in single item stacks not the addons. And most of them will be doing it with or without addon. Furthermore, those addons already existed in Vanilla and they were able to do exactly the same as today.

Okay, why would they do that though?
Like I said in the end they’d earn the same amount anyway the only real difference is more clicks :open_mouth:

The AH addons existed in vanilla, threads complaining about the same thing existed in vanilla. So really they are enhancing the vanilla experience by bringing it all back

I cannot tell you. Maybe they hope to earn more because they can add a few copper to the price of a single one. I always preferred and went for either full stacks or if items are needed for quests, the size that is needed for that quest.

Alright, thanks for answering anyway!
I guess to each their own

Thanks for bringing up yet another incorrect post. See many posts above while your point is invalid (same as people who claimed that LFG add-on existed in vanilla).

Auctioneer project on curseforge created Oct 23 2006. First version on curseforge is 3.4.2, for game version 1.12.0

And people certainly used to complain about single stacks. So I fail to see how it’s my post that’s incorrect…

Same as LFG add-on: technically it existed, but not enough people used it to cause problems. Today single stack is an epidemic on both retail and Classic.

So while technically you are correct, you are missing one important difference that changes everything: more people are doing it already and they are causing problems.

To make things worse, Blizzard changed auction house UI to match one from vanilla, so it doesn’t have modern BfA sorting for auctions, making it even easier to annoy people with single stack posts.

Your point is?

I don’t give a flying bleep if someone who’s farmed a boss for 15 years kills it quickly. Of course they were going to. People didn’t suck back then per se, they just didn’t know the encounters beforehand. Simple as that.
