AV fix boycott

Do you mean my personal score? Did you also notice my green gear?

Now… I could just ambush the lowest HP ppl if I wished, but how useful would that be towards the objective?

Yes I agree. But thats not because Alliance cant win. Its because its not worth it for them. Alliance can win just as much as Horde but most alliance dont want to win in AV because it takes to long so the motivated (generally) alliance play WSG/AB instead.

Nope. All wrong. Still ^_^.

He’s right, there is no reason to queue for AV unless you are farming rep. It’s not fun and it’s very bad HPH

Because there is nothing to fix? Unless you speak of the afk alliances not contributing to your fight of course.

Plenty of things to fix to make it fun, but it won’t matter unless you make it 30K HPH for alliance. I’m R14 already, I’ll queue AV if they make it fun, but rankers won’t queue unless you make it worth their while compared to 90% win rate in AB/WSG against horde tradechat pugs.

Good summary but you skipped the part when for 2 months while AV premades were going, horde players made 50+ complaint topics on the forums every single day, making the whole forums from first page to last full with those threads.
That was the biggest QQ wave in the entire history of wow and also entire gaming history probably.(maybe a close contender to fallout 68 posts on reddit) Such a wave that it turned into a tsunami of tears and Blizzard had to change the whole queue system 2 times.

They actually hotfixed the queue 3 times.

Yeah, Blizzard should have just banned everyone who abused it, right (No ofc not)? I mean it’s clearly an unintended interaction that they used to gain an advantage in-game, so actually against ToS. Obviously they needed to do something. Just like when they released BGs like a whole month earlier than planned (speculation) due to (mostly) alliance tears. Which btw probably was a similar wave of QQ tear tsunami. Except Blizzard acted faster on it.

2% Ally win rate exists is equal to a bad game design and should never exist.
Any brain deads considering the situation as an OK things - are completely lost.
Changes should happen.

And they will. In burning crusade. Until then, you’ve always got refail BGs to play if the “joy of BGs” is what you’re truly after.

Nobody (atleast most ppl weren’t) was premading the night of release.
I was solo queuing, insta pops, and 95% win rate with 39 randoms from neutral to exalted in a day. Same for my irl friends and guildies who cared about rep.

Now, how did the games play out? Horde rushing SHGY? Horde defending IBGY until it IS taken.

That how your games played out?

Wrong.
But ok.

As far as I know there is absolutely no proof that Alliance can win “just as much as Horde” on this version of the map if Horde choose to go for a slow game.

If you’re gonna be stingy like that, then there is absolutely no proof the map has anything to do with it either. Only weak conjecture, based on a single correlation with no evidence it’s the causation.
You can’t demand hard evidence for one thing, yet claim your own conjecture is solid gold.

I’d argue that applies much more to your arguments about “mentality” since arguments about the map can at least point to something factual like graveyard positioning, distance, and respawn amounts while you only have your own conjectures and assumptions about what’s happening in people’s heads.

And it’s your own weak conjectures as to how that matters for the PvP, supported by nothing except for a weak correlation.

Again: everything you say applies even more to your claims.

There is no “more” or “less” in this. It either does or it doesn’t. And it sure as hell does for yours.
