Blizz making game time changes

well i just looked up on one of the sites in my country
the gametime card is for 60 days
so that doesnt affect it yeah?

But then they won’t have anything to moan about.

But this means I can’t use the bnet balance I have on the shop to buy a 30 day sub

I have too much gold that nothing to spend, but tokens…

No, that is the Game Time option that remains. They are simply removing the versions with 30 days and 180 days.

oh yes thank you
so its fine
but idk what to think or say about this decision of theirs tbh

You can buy a WoW Token and convert it to 30 days.
Or save more bnet balance and buy the Game Time for 60 days.

But no, you can’t buy Game Time for 30 days. That specific product doesn’t exist anymore.

It was linked earlier in the discussion, in case you missed it.

You mean a wow token from the ah? Or can I use the tokens you can buy in the shop myself?

So why is the price not increasing just doubling the amount of game time you buy in one transaction? It still works out at £9.99 a month and the sub fee stays exactly the same, no price increase.

Its a rubbish move to push those who buy, for whatever reason, 30 days game time at a time onto a rolling sub.

They also screwed over Canadian players by increasing the price of game time but leaving the sub price alone meaning Canadians would pay more than those in America if they didn’t switch to a sub.

Its greed pure and simple. Can’t defend it.

Just start up sub and cancel it again

UK has had 2 changes.
1: Subs went up from £8.99 to £9.99 when WoD released.
2: They removed 30, 90 & 180 day gametime in December 2020

I’m desperately trying to find a way to bash Blizzard over this but I just don’t have anything :frowning:

Well this made paying with gold 12e more expensive for 6 months, pretty obvious what is the reason for this decision. Next will be sub changes.

dont know what to tell you some decisions are just odd
but then again ive always used 60 days game time card codes

Indifference of /shrug would be a fair reaction, I think.

It really doesn’t affect most people’s ability to buy access to WoW, or the price they’re paying. There are some niche cases out there where some people may have relied on the 30 days or 180 days of Game Time.
But if you’re paying with a subscription or using a WoW Token, then this means nothing to you. Carry on as normal.

Every country as a Floating exchange rate, they changed it in the UK because the UK’s consumer laws let them get away with it, They wont get away with that in some of the other EU country’s because of there law’s, It had nothing to do with the Pound’s exchange rate… the Euro fluctuates far more than the Pound.

Same in Asian country’s, like eg: China which as a completely different payment system

It is more expensive to play with Game Time now, so its not nothing, the change is pure greed.

I doubt there will be sub changes
