But hey, it might mean raids might spend a week or two more before starting, so you wouldn’t be left behind, again. And that’s your problem I fancy.

No but I believe it’s obvious that Blizzard is really scared of Classic succeeding. They want it to just be a pipeline to BFA so they can say “SEE, you thought you did but you don’t, we told you so”. That’s also why they are sabotaging the game with layering. They hate Classic.
I feel like this forum is full with people who have already cleared MC , that is what I get from absurd amount of retarded comments I get to see every time about how it is easy when almost none has actually cleared MC, but for some reason on this form everyone has and it was easy for them.
On the contrary. Classic is best advertisement stunt that fuels not just warcraft, but their games in general. It built hype, talk and visibility.
So you want them to make a “classic” that… isn’t it. So what do you want then? To recreate every error blizz did in designing wow? (which they spent the first 9-12 months of vanilla correcting), or do you want them to make a new version of vanilla, with redone content altogether? Either way you’re going to come into conflict with ever so many “nochanges” people, or those who have no interest in blizz spending loads to make a slightly different vanilla wow (which likely includes blizz themselves).
If method took the world first for the next retail mythic race, and they had level 115 characters in quest greens in the mix, would you call it a bit easy?
Also it’s throwing a few people onto a job that might keep a few hundred K subs going for a while. Easy business decision.

They can’t, because :
Raid are made for max-level in Retail, that was not the case in Vanilla. You can get experience in raid in Vanilla to level up, you can’t do that in Retail because the game doesn’t allow you to enter in the raid.
Gear scaling is abslolutely not the same in Retail and Classic. Retail ? You are barely useless at max-level without gear. Classic ? You are decent at max level without gear. The stats increase in Retail is 10x superior as Classic, that’s why lot of people complain about how in Retail, the previous gear is totaly useless in the next tier.
The “Next Mythic Race” in Retail, is new and strategy / min-maxing possibility is not well know. Vanilla was made 15 year ago, and 15 year later, we have a massive experience of how Vanilla work.
And also, it’s always fun to see people talk about how “X is easy”, when they haven’t done it

Difference is that Retail items and classic items have huge difference , in classic green can be no worse then blue , or even purple depending on situation.
Also what makes you think that they had quest greens, they are huge pserver guild I am sure they had way better gear then you will have by the time you reach 60.

Their real issue is… that it wasn’t them that did it “first”.
So many posers went to classic with the absurd notion that they’d somehow be important and special “I’ll be the one with TF this time”… “I’m going to be special and ride a different races mount” or whatever else they saw someone do, or heard someone did in vanilla.
Then the reality that vanilla wasn’t all that hard to begin with, and that some people have spent 10 years perfecting leveling and done those raids so many times they could do them asleep, blindfolded with a hand on their backs, and that there’s no way they’d be able to be special compared to that, comes and hits them over the head.
No, MC/Onyxia was designed with non-level 60 in mind. That’s why you can enter in the raid without being level 60.
Except you know… raiding lbrs/scholo/strat (and others) was common (especially “class raids” for t0 pieces), and ubrs was a raid you did before 60.
