Timer does not have any bearing on the number of loot drops. Its the same loot regardless of how fast you do the key.
There used to be an increased chance of more loot for over +15s 20% per key level so if you did a 20 you would have 3 bits of loot, not sure if this is still in place.
Did they change that then? Iâm pretty sure that used to be a factor
As in it was a hard you will get more gear instead of a chance
It did back in the days of 2 chest and 3 chest but thats not been a thing for 2-3 expansions i think.

If I get loot, and a guildie needs it, I give it to them over a random.
Itâs my loot, I can redistribute it however I want, I can disenchant it in front of you if I choose, you are not entitled to someone elseâs items.

Im sorry but NO. If you want to prevent the points you mention, its a waste of time.
In PL as well. ONLY:
A) You roll it behind the scenes.
B) You ONLY roll for spec/roll appropriate items. No more bows in groups with 0 hunters, or mail in an only plate group.
So GL will NOT solve this.
Really? This happens in GL, ML, or whatever system you want. The only way to prevent this is to ban trading all toguether. Which is worse.

I am confused how GL will adress this better than what PL does. Like point 2, they will need for items they dont need/cant use and trade them off.

No one wants your solution because PL is working. Once the item drops it is playerâs choice what to do with it and the player base is OK with that. Stop complaining about something being wrong when it isnât. When a player wins an item it is his and he decides what to do with it. It is not even open for a debate does people HAVE to roll to win the item. The player decides what to do with it and that is it.
Group loot has no place in M+

For me, that statement is utter crap.
Dungeon / Raid loot is not a personâs loot, itâs the groupâs loot, because everyone in that grp contributed to getting that loot - old loot system showed that better, personal loot dropping items into one playerâs pocket was a huge mistake that made players more egoistic in my opinion; and yes, group loot should be brought back everywhere.
Especially silly are ppl complaining about others ninjalooting in group loot, when perso loot is nothing else than everyone needing on everything in the background. Group loot allready wins over perso loot as soon as a single person does not roll on a item.
And that is the magic of it!
Since you cant see it, you cant blame anyone. No ninjas cause were all ninjas.
You cant be more fair than that.
But lets be serious: You dont understand PL. Nobody needs loot at any moment. First the game decides IF you get loot or not in the first place.
And THEN it decides what piece you get.
NOT the other way around.
You get crests for your effort. Take them and leave. Loot is just bonus.
You dont get M+, dont engage in M+, and especially: NO. PL stays.

When you have 5 players in a group you are pretty sure you are not covering all the armor types. And you need to split the loot from the armor types you got multiple players from.
Group loot is rolling on all items of the full loot table, not taking the group compisition into account, and the âwinnersâ are represented as loot for the group. Personal loot is every player in the group rolls, and the highest players get an item from their own loot table.
Personal loot always wins over group loot or you have to upgrade the amount of loot items.
I donât give any item from M+ to others i believe i should vendor the item cause wipes cost gold.
Options you could try out:
- whisper faster. Preferably( dO YoU nEEd??)
- directly trade the winner.
Options that might need some hard preparations:
- find friends and run with guild members

Thatâs not what I read how PL works, but it doesnât matter, the social aspect of my argument still stands.
Perso loot made players egoistic and crests alone are useless without gear to upgrade in the fist place.
There are enough items like backs, neck, rings, trinkets, weapons that are shared between different armor types.
Maybe check for more info than current season before stateing such nonesense; not my fault current tier mogs are ugly apart from LFR / nhc tints so I donât need to run M+ this season, though I still might do so later with my monk.

You know, with that brilliant logic I can just tell you to stay away from M+ in case loot getâs changed to group loot. See where that gets us? Exactly. Nowhere.
I never had any drama with loot back when we still had group loot back in WotlK/Cata, because ppl realized that everyone has the right to claim the loot that dropped for the group, unlike today.
But the loot doesnt drop for the group in M+. A (Hidden) roll is done and the winners are awarded the loot. So at that point its their loot.
Why do i need to offer my loot to other people?
