Classic is really deluding many people

Well, Hannibal might’ve been a psychopathic murderer, but at least he had brains. You could at least have an intelligent conversation with him if he wasn’t intent on killing you. On the other hand, you, cultists… brains are just not your strong suit. xD

You might have an issue if you’re relating/comparing yourself to Hannibal Lectar. At least he has the excuse of eating his friends.

Honestly, coping isn’t their strong suit

Ahhh I was gone for like an hour what the hell happened

Telling someone something isn’t their business is telling them that something is private.

You must think I’m dim or have goldfish memory.

Well I hope that human priest has been reading what you have been saying, because then she would have dodged a bullet. You harped on about how you’re a nice guy but then you have been rude to me with false accusations and then literally lying about what you said.

Have fun trying to make friends with your “nice guy with fine print attached” attitude :upside_down_face:

What a pointless thread…
Why is everyone trying to persuade other people about what they should think and feel ?
When you play the game you feel what you feel, you do not need some random person on forum to tell you how are things working for you.

Just play the fking game you like…

See what I meant about brains? I clearly gave the example of talking to him, not being him, and yet the conclusion is still… that I’m “comparing” myself to him.

Hopeless. xD

No, it’s not. If it were actually private, they would’ve made it private by whispering IRL or /w or /p in-game.

Yep, and you were totally angelic with me, never “felt sorry for me” for being “friendless” or anything like that at all.

Any more delusions you’d like to share?

Hannibal was very nice and charismatic character. Probably nicer than many here …

People don’t buff because it’s not necessary, everything dies 2 million years before you’re even close to 2% down on health. So buffs are not necessary. In classic, buffing has a meaning. That extra health given might be just enough to survive a spawn, that extra intellect might be enough to take down a difficult mob etc. This isn’t necessary in retail, where everything is so dull and easy that it hurts.

Communicating as well isn’t necessary in retail, you press a button and get a group. No one has to say anything, they don’t have to communicate and the dungeons take maybe 15 minute at the most.

Classic brings back the necessity of being a community again. And that’s what makes classic 10 000 times better than retail.

I never claimed to be an angel. But you claimed to be a nice guy.

That other person is correct. You are the sort of nice guy that quickly turns on people when things don’t go their way.

And I did genuinely feel sorry for you. I already told you I find it hard to poke people for groups. I am shy. I know what it’s like to want to make friends but be unable to. But I see now you made the bed you’re in.

Exactly. However, don’t let the movie and story glamorize everything about him to you. He was still a psychopath and murderer… mostly a bad person. Selectively “nice”? Absolutely. Intelligent, charismatic, and a conversationalist? Absolutely. However, a very bad person, too. ^^

But lets keep going and see what happens

Ahaha man. This is so bad.

No, I didn’t. I never claimed that with a period like you did. I claimed that I was a very nice person… then continued to explain how selectively I am, and said… to my friends, the people I love, and the people who are nice to me.

Don’t misquote someone then pretend you’re not lying about them, while also claiming that they’re lying about you.

And no, I don’t turn at all if someone has been nice to me, and is suddenly not interested in, say, questing or grouping up with me, for example. I’m not going to crap on our shared time just because they had a non-offensive change of heart or change of schedule or whatever.

You see nothing, but I never came to this thread to “make friends.” I came because the OP matches to an insane level my way of thinking about the comparison between Retail and Classic, especially their communities.

More importantly, for the nth time, there’s no way I’m having problems finding questing company in Classic because I’m an awful person, because even if I will hypothetically agree with you that I’m such an awful person, the people reading my simple ad in General, which says something like “Chivalrous tank would love some questing company. Please /w if you can use company, too!” cannot tell at all that I’m an awful person from those words. They have to group with me first, then find out! And all along, what I repeatedly talked about is not difficulty to turn party members to friends, it’s the severe lack of interest in questing together in Classic.

However, logic kept going over heads for a while, so I don’t expect you to understand what I’m trying to explain for the nth time.

The other male troll above talked about the"vibes" I’m sending, as if I’ll send them in General in-game, too, and how I think I’m awesome, and apparently, that will show in General, too. xD

Yes you did.

I’m done with you and your lies. Any future responses will be ignored. I am informing you so that you do not waste your time with a response that will be completely ignored. Have a nice day and good luck in whatever form of WoW you play.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA

No. You don’t NEED to, that’s the big difference. There’s no positively forced social interactions needed in retail.

  1. One-click LFG/Premades
  2. Every class is similar
  3. There’s no difficult mobs and they scale up with the more players who hit them, making you wonder if it’s worth even grouping up with people.
  4. No hard elites that are dangerously patrolling or blocking your way in order for you to call for back-up.
  5. No hard quests
  6. Resource management is a joke and regen is too high.
  7. There’s just no reliance on other players in this “MMORPG” that retail is supposed to be. None of it, hence why the only communication needed is for Mythic+, raids and rated PvP.
  8. Flying - everybody flying from point A to Z ASAP, avoiding potential interaction.

And by the way, this is coming from a person who is VERY social on retail WoW (me) and always say Hi and Bye in random groups, dungeons and the likes but usually never get a response back. Why the hell would I want to play retail over Classic now?

I can’t be bothered reading the rest of your topic.

Gamers, watch out. He just bought an AK47 from the pet-shop.

How can you compare the game with most social aspects with the game with least ones?
