Classic is really deluding many people

It happens also with the pug groups i join / make from general chat in the zones which hold the dungeons. People join, say ‘hi’. Go to the dungeon, do it and say thanks and bye. That social interaction though.

He’s referring to the recently fixed bug which allowed people to form 10-man raids and farm XP in 5-mans.

You still can form 10man groups for that, it was the amount of XP which was reduced. Though I was on about 5mans.

True nothing is stopping me from being a postive player ‘in classic’, so that what I am.

Don’t be jealous that a good commuinty came to classic. Whilst retail still has a lot of ignorant people. With their judgemental addons.

The magic is back because the right people have come back for it. Unlike retail.

I agree fun is subjective, some like classic some like retail, thats how it is. To me wow classic isn’t just fun, it’s love.

The only attitude that I see that has no faith in here is yours.

Toughen up buttercup!

You don’t understand THE PEOPLE OF THOSE GAMES are not the same.

We didn’t left Retail for the buffes or community. we leave it for the sh itty game it is.

This is what I really dont understand, I have so much interaction with players in retail.

It’s almost like people who couldn’t keep up with the increasingly challenging game mechanics turned away from the game and are using the guise of ‘bad community’ to justify their bias against it.

That is the crux of it, isn’t it? Can’t handle the mechanics, scared to make own groups to gain the knowledge and experience to counter said mechanics. Then cry about the addons which tracks the people who have or have not reached the level of gameplay required to beat said mechanics.

No wonder so many people are loving classic, there are no mechanics. Don’t get me wrong, I am loving it myself just as much as I love retail.

Not everyone cares about these things though.

Not everything’s unlocked from the get-go, by the by.

I never asked for half the things featured in Retail. Don’t put me in to your dishonest collective “We”.

I used to think this way. “Why are people complaining? Why don’t they do the dungeon on a harder difficulty? Everything is fine as it is!”
… Then I noticed that I don’t want to do raids at any other difficulty outside of LFR. Or that I didn’t feel motivated to do dungeons, or much of anything. Why bother with getting in to a guild to do a regular raid when I can do an LFR? Ahaaaaa…

I’ve died a couple of times leveling alone, playing my Rogue. Checkmate.

Great attitude, makes me want to seek you out and talk to you.

I will admit, I tuned out of General Chat because of that occurence. Still keep it in a separate window if I want to ask in zone about something, and I tend to get useful responses.

Even someone like me who is fairly antisocial isn’t aggravated to your kind of level.

So you encountered a group who had a leader who was a dick. Big deal, tell the world about it and he’ll have lesser odds of finding groups together, since he won’t have cross-realm LFG’s to hide behind.

How petty…

Then BWL will get released, and then ZG, and then AQ, and then Naxx.

I don’t want any of these at all.

You’re new to vanilla, I see. There’s plenty of content that Blizzard was working in vanilla times but couldn’t finish. With the success that Classic has been, they will finish it now.

I do not consider anything past 4.2 to be part of Warcraft or part of WoW. I also think that 3.2 is where WoW’s downfall began. The player statistics support my statement as well. “But that’s just your opinion, I like BfA” - fine, cool. You’re part of a minority, though. The current playerbase of BfA is a minority in the total playerbase of WoW. You would do well to remember that…

This thread is mental. I love it

Please. Stop making assumptions. It’s nice to join other groups for content you may want to do. I may not have the key for certain gear i’m grinding for, or in a raid, one is already close to being formed, saves time from starting up your own no?

I do make my groups and raids majority of the time because I have to.

Whats wrong with wanting to join others as well though?

Vanilla encourages the growth of a community because the world is hard and unforgiving. It helps to have friends so people are more friendly.
Meanwhile on retail forums there was a rogue last week explaining how she managed to solo 2 world bosses.
The only person here who seems to be deluded is you.

Your entire post was just one big assumption.

Quote the parts you think were assumptions. As I can’t see it.

Thats the trouble, you can’t see how presumptuous you are being.

If someone needs “Presumptions” in their posts pointed out, then it’s a high chance that you are just grasping at straws to get a “Gotye” on someone.

So yes, do point out the inconsistencies in his posts. I too am curious what you’re talking about.

Yes sure I tried this and many times got told shut up (none polite version) and get on with the dungeon… we aint here to chat. In world people are in too much of a rush… personal time is more valuable to them than social time.

yea becouse everyone use cone of cold or fireblast while they play frost…kek

Sure thing then.

And to top it off, a bit of hypocrisy.
