Classic is really deluding many people

Let’s just say i’d take tbc era over anything, but classic is second best, i’d settle for wotlk too.

Wait, millions of players leaving every new expansion since after WoTLK means “nobody is leaving”?!

Damn, I guess grass is purple after all!

Correct, but you misunderstood my post. It means: Everything that is not Early WoTLK is trash.

Yes, I would. I want the next retail expansion to be as close to the early WoTLK as possible. Well, a man can dream…

Don’t need, but can. But some forum posters make think it is a good thing that i do not have to communicate with people like them. LFG does not stop you from communicating if you want.

I dont really think this is a big deal. Attractiveness is objective yet not everyone likes the same women.

Games are either objectively good or bad. Classic is objectively good. Some like it, some don’t. I haven’t played BFA so it’s up to others to say if it’s objectively good or not, either way some like it and some don’t.

Well it’s whatever people like, yes ulduar was best, but i think icc was pretty good aswell, also ruby sanctum is really underrated. Or you got some more specific gripes with late-wotlk?

In case you meant that only early wotlk and NOTHING else is good in wow… then i gotta ask why would you even play classic or wow anyway.

What? Beauty and attraction are utterly subjective. Are you even a troll or what?

and everyone says it is the retail folks who are toxic?

I tried socializing in retail, the response results are:

  • “kick this ^$&@”
  • “WTS [ahead of the curve] and 15+, we offer skilled group, /w for more info!”
  • “link achiev or no inv”
  • “kick failers”
  • silence/ignore
In open world and LFR/LFG, results are a bit worse  :
  • silence/ignore
  • run by mob tag
  • “Find that on the internet”

Also many quests and scenarios are build around The Chosen One And Only Hero Of Azeroth And Slayer of The Titans, so pretty much often I see players phasing out of my screen when I start quests, while having some warchiefs and leaders follow me as trainees.

PvP balance was bad in early WoTLK, where Dks were so broken I could have sneezed and get 2,2k on arena, and then we had immortal paladin healers that could carry whole trio.

But other than this I am not sure what is anyones problem with WoTLK. Or at least for me its my all-time favorite wow era, mainly also due lore, location and storylines. I am LK fanboi over and over. best character ever !

ha yes that is true, but then again has pvp ever been 100% balanced.

I heard that today in classic :frowning: Wasn’t to me, but was in TM and some guy asked a question about quest location and someone responded in /s with that.

Quite simple. I root for Classic, so that I will have my WoTLK realm later. Meanwhile, I can pet battle on Retail and sit on the forums here.

My biggest gripe with late-wotlk is the ICC ring, that was bis and kinda ruined the itemization for PvP and PvE quite a bit. Also, somehow, some parts of the raiding gear (including this stupid ring) were better than PvP Wrathful Glad (Season 8) items, which made no sense to me, whatsoever, since I was PvPing like a madman back in the day. But yet, I had to visit that dumb raid no pvper ever cared about. /rant.

Because of the Classic hysteria, I suspect the next expansion will take a lot of influence from it. Ion may suck as a dev, but he does pander very well to the rabble.

when i read your last post I thought for moment “wtf - there wasn’t anything in late wotlk to ruin it” and then now you mention the one thing i actually hated  See how selective my brain is. I loved wotlk so much that I have forgotten some details like that.

Trinkets and PvP thing is also spot on.

sadistic behaviour

Oh, and I’d get used to it, because make no mistake, if this is a success, which it looks like it will be, they’re gonna milk this cash cow for all it’s worth.

Retail is winding down now, for them. They’re looking at other options to extend the game.

I know it’s really disturbing.

Every player hated that dumb ring. The one Ring, that ruined WoW forever. Caused cataclysm and pandas. Early WoTLK was great, because patches were to be expected. But the end of WoTLK was the end of WoW as we know and love it.

Yes, definitely. Everyone is deluded. Everyone is delusional, aside from you of course. This is rational and not at all mental
