As stated by countless people before me: The people who complain about this have their versions of the game available. They can play Retail WoW with a Warmode, can play Wrath of the Lich King which has no open world, or even Classic on PvE servers.
Theres 3 options for them. And they still want to ruin Classic.
It is a game tho, first and foremost. And as such, it should be fun for all participants.
If keeping the other faction down was the highest priority(as opposed to fun for everyone), you would not get a dishonorable kill for killing enemy civillian NPCâs, and a ban for doing so repeatedly.
The rules are loose on a PvP server, sure, but there still are limits to what players should do to each other. Most players understand this. Some⌠do not.

I picked a pvp server when I first joined because my cousin was playing there, and yes I regretted it during my leveling, judge me for that all you want.
This. No use arguing with that pally btw, heâs the guy who griefed his own faction on ZT during the AQ40 War Movement by working with the horde. He was eventually ousted from the server and itâs guilds due to many factors, not least his dubious opinions on certain communities of irl society.
I dont judge people for playing on PvE servers.
I judge people who play on PvP servers and try to get PvP shut down by crying on forums or falsely reporting honest players.

Looks like youâve been outed. Disregarding your dubious PvP practices against people just trying to level. Why didnât you spend your PvP time trying it on against level 60âs? Instead of lowbie gankings & cheap npc kills? I know, not against any rules, just really cheap & crappy sh!t to do. Is that youâre only enjoyment from this game? I question why you pay the sub? Maybe youâre really sh!t at proper PvP games?
Maybe donât sit on lowbies corpses for hours at a time then? Fight characters your own level who can actually fight back if you want to show how good you are at the game, and camp them instead? Thereâs a difference between âWorld PVP/Gankingâ and targeting someone specific to purposefully ruin their experience over a prolonged period.
Itâs interesting how you seem surprised and outraged that you were getting reported for preventing someone from playing the game over the span of a few days, consistently targeting one low level who canât fight back is just sad, and frowned upon by Blizz and most of the community. How else do you expect them to fight back when thereâs literally nothing they can do and youâre totally wasting their time by not even letting them play?
You deserve to be reported and banned by these people for trying to use the TOS to justify being a toxic player and ruining other peoples enjoyment of Classic. I have also heard of your blatantly racist and homophobic exploits and /whisps to different people, and how you single characters out purposefully to ruin their levelling experience for disagreeing with you. Nothing wrong with ganking someone a few times, nobody is reporting you for running past someone and killing them, or even camping for a while, but picking a target over the span of days/weeks at all hours of the night and day with only the intention of ruining their enjoyment while they try to level is griefing, and textbook narcissistic bullying. Itâs the equivalent of kicking a baby kitten repeatedly, and reflects more on you as a person and less on this imaginary âpack of crybulliesâ you talk about while looking for justification for your terrible behaviour on the forums.

You idiot. You were kicked from the main guilds and their discords on Firemaw Era before the surge happened and disappeared for some time. Now the population has increased youâve made a reappearance.

I barely played Era until the population boom, yea.
I raided with ACTIVE on Era for a bit to obtain Corrupted Ashbringer which never dropped for me in Classic, other than that i didnt see much reason to touch Era until now. ACTIVE has crazy fast raids (soft reserve) and the guild master is very friendly and entertaining, can recommend if you want to raid Naxxramas. I just dont care about pushing timers AT ALL.
Now that Era booms and i too play again, i meet a ton of good folks from my old server, Zandalar Tribe.

Honestly i have reported people ingame for swearing, abusive and toxic behaviour, not just me 3-4 people at the same time did the same and absolutely nothing has happened.
You managed to get muted 3 times says alot to me. People should keep reporting you for your behavior. No matter what a gm says. In any other decent game youâd be perma banned, because you ruin other players fun and cause players to quit and leave the game.
Agreed. If one person reports you and dislikes you it can just be some ahole who has it in for you. 2 of those I can maybe believe, but when loads of people dislike you and want to report you I would look inward.
If I read the stories here from people that know him Iâm not surprised why people report him on sight. Even the way he behaves on the forums makes me believe he has no empathy and feels itâs his duty to go out of his way to ruin the fun of other.
Arguing with him is a waste of energy. Upright is a guy that thinks in black and white, either heâs dead wrong or perfectly right, no in between. Not that simple for normal people ofc, thatâs why he gets reported.
Just like IRL, being annoying, being a karen, being unpleasant etc etc is not against the law, but donât be surprised people have zero tolerance and patience to you.

i got 3 BEHAVIOUR WARNINGS for COMMUNICATION while GANKING SOMEONE who i CANT SPEAK TO. This proves that the person falsely reported me for PvP.
If i got muted for that, id write a ticket, the GM would check my logs, see they are clean as a whistle and unmute me!

When loads of people dislike you and want to report you, youre probably doing something right. A true paladin would know. 
Anyway, we are once again losing track of the topic due to false accusations and misunderstandings. For the record, ive seen people get BANNED not muted for abusive chats. If i actually harassed people in whispers like im being accused of doing here (absolutely not true) i would be BANNED or MUTED. Guess what im not!
Back to the point of the thread! The report system is an automated abomination that can be abused by the outrage cancel cult to make people put EFFORT into proving their INNOCENCE.
I get 5 FALSE behaviour warnings for ganking, im starting to get worried of an incoming FALSE mute, so i feel the need to put EFFORT into writing a ticket for my own PROTECTION because i am very much playing by the rules and INNOCENT.
Thats the issue with the system. Whether people dislike me or not is totally not a topic as long as i play by the rules. In fact it proves my point: People shouldnt be able to report others for disliking them. These false reporters should be heavily penalized.
