FIREMAW EU - We have a problem

How can Firemaw have so big queues? I play on Mograine and the queus here are 1 h on sundsy evening and 30 min approx on wednesday evenings.

I know that Firemaw is bigger population wise but it cant be that big of a difference.

Yes it is. 3500pax queue of 250 min at 4pm.
I you log after 4.30pm you can’t raid.

Thats insane and unplayable.

It’s thanks to many little amounts of players transferred from different realms, like from our realm, who created the queue there.

The Queue Boss gets stronger the more players join the raid.

but you get queued with other servers its not a server problem? its a faction issue I would say there is to much horde.

What?

I don’t think Firemaw suffers from faction imbalance

Oh im so sorry I tought he was talking about PVP queues, since I dont have that issue on my server I directly assumed he meant pvp

How is a queue due to faction imbalance? A queue represents people joining a server before they choose their character(which is where you choose which faction you wish to play)

15:22 and already a queue of almost one hour is up, it’s a Thursday…yet another three to four hour queue soon.

Great job ignoring the community, yet again…

Come on Blizzard, at least acknowledge this isn’t a good place to be?!

I’m pretty sure Blizzard said something along the lines if you dont want queues then move servers via the free migration… stop with the damn crying and either get on with it and queue or damn well pay to transfer! There have been so many threads regarding the queue times on fireman and seems to be the same people coming to the forums to whine, again I ask, why are you still on that server???

2000-4000 players transferring would certainly make Blizzard™ Activi$ion® very happy… and rich

Daily 2-5 hour queue times from 12:00 to 23:00 is fine. #thisisfine /s

Here’s what’s up.
Some people are logging only for raid then never to be seen for a full week and this leads to a lot of guilds on smaller servers disbanding due to inactivity.

No one else wants to take the players that remain so they look up the server stats and see Firemaw-EU on the top, then they transfer hoping they can find a better guild.

This happened to me and I was about to transfer but saw the queue situation and decided to look for a smaller server. The root problem being lack of recruitment channels.

Blizzard needs to take action because this problem isn’t going to solve itself any time soon. Blizzard are chiefly to blame because they have not only allowed, but also profited of the servertransfers that are making low population realms emptier and full population realms even fuller. They created this problem, its on them fix it.

Its not feasible for 100+ guildies all to up sticks and leave. And its not free, we have been here since day 1 why should we pay?

100+ guildies leaving the server also wouldn’t even put a dent in the queue. We’d need at least twenty guilds to leave. Probably a hundred.

Some action needs to be taken to correct the server que issues, as well as faction imbalance issues causing people to transfer, implement a faction que and free transfers, this appears to be the easiest and most cost effective way of resolving the issue.

That or just continue to ignore the issue…

A faction dependent queue would be really awkward on one-sided servers.

Ally guilds could come to flamelash.
Also easy pvprankups if u get a bunch of guilds to go.
Nice to farm mats.
Horde vvelcomes u.
