Make each raid boss take 30 minutes for 1 try then lets talk about it

In the meantime I’ll get some popcorn for this thread because indeed, why should you be rewarded with loot for failing if depletion is taken away? “Well hero, you didn’t stop the threat and they killed the village… Here, have a reward!”

not sure if someone already made that argument but if someone leaves and key breakes or the leader decides to call it and the grp disbands, id much rather to disband a grp where a 2.7k mage does 600k and start anew instead of wasting 20 min to find out we wont time it… while your your argument is somewhat true it is the lesser of 2 evils imo.
to play the devils advocate here, yes you might run into keys being restarted for an hour but atleast there is no harm done to leave anymore, since there is nothing to gain but rating in the first place anyway.

Also you are the one trying to compare m+ to mythic raid in the first place if you can not take facts and logic do not post simple as that and keep your toxic thoughts to yourself.

Why are we rewarded now? I’ve always thought it was weird we’re told to do stuff in a specific time and if we don’t the powers that be don’t mind.
Imagine I get into Heaven and God just says “Nah, it’s cool bro.”
I may be misunderstanding how you mean this, but the actual majority of M+ players didn´t even clear 10s under teh old system, much less the new one, ergo they are primarily running at levels that do still mostly provide them with meaningful gear upgrades… The rating is secondary for most of them because they’re not even actively trying to get KSM…
Again, if I´m misunderstanding your intent, please feel free to enlighten me

your stating a religious thing , which is a bad example , lets not give examples with religion please , im sayin it for the 4th time , doing a 35 min or even 40 cause your healer is struggling or your tank didn’t press defensives on tank busters , so if you finish the run you don’t go punch your monitor for the 40 min of your life wasted trying so hard , your level of cortisol is getting spiked with the stress in the dungeon , so here we give you a piece of loot , they tap you on the shoulder and give you a good job for trying and killing the boss , you killed it , cause you got better at doing the mechanics , that’s good enough for rewards, now we can stop talking about this nonsense loot bs , this is not real life , this is a game.
Is wow supposed to be like guild wars 2? where you get loot bags thrown after you for everything you do? Is wow supposed to reward you for everything you do?
Like i know im going against the stream on this one and its an unpopular opinion. But wow shouldn’t reward you like your playing candy crush.

I don’t get the cortisol spike though and I don’t feel any stress, I’m just playing for fun.
The 40 mins will pass no matter what. It wasn’t a waste if I had fun.
I also don’t own my monitor, I’m borrowing it from a pal. If I punched it I’d owe my pal money and I’d have to buy a monitor. No way I’d ever punch it.
I feel as the OP you need to take your own advice and just let the thread just drop tbh as you are just attacking everyone at this point who doesnt agree with you.

my friend , im not talking about you , im talking about people i played with , i’ve seen streamers rage , i’ve seen mythic friend group disbands over my gameplay with many guilds , its not about you , that’s the issues with opinions , its always “me me " , that’s not how you get to understand what other people say , you basically can’t open your mind to what others do , just one simple” hmm im gonna check a forum and see what people say about this " and you should do it without talking with them , just observe and get information .
there should never be a 0 reward after finishing the key , if you commit enough to finish a key that’s enough for people to get rewarded , you commit time and resources for that , remember that m+ is not only for loot , no one is doing 11/12 for crests or loot.

this thread was about key depletion , and people talk about why are we getting loot , what’s your point here ? should i just say “sir yes sir” even if something doesn’t make sense ?

You didn’t fail, and you did “stop the threat” if you complete the dungeon. Also it makes perfect sense that you get loot, because you literally steal it from the enemies dead body.
And is this only for dungeons or in raids too? So you fail to kill Queen Ansurek on your first attempt and you get no loot because you failed, ok chief let’s re-do the whole raid until we get it first try!
Great logic there let’s tie all loot into roleplaying. I thought I was the roleplayer in Argent Dawn, but apparently now Draenor is a RP server as well.
