A while back the streamer sodapoppin was caught having bought gold. Nothing happened to him. He should have gotten a perma ban, but he supposedly brings eyes to the game.
Blizzard is just lying through their teeth left and right.

simple no actions vs bots. Also Blizzard uses automated GM tools, not real GMs in 99% of cases. There been lots of accounts/people banned for 6 months or even liftime and never solved in āāpersonāā discussion revision of their unfair ban anymore. Just for that they got mass reported by certain middle east community who use the bots the most and only for gathering gold that they sell later.
He refers that also other MMO are still quite popular despite lacking there where wow doesnt. But WOW classic, ERA certainly lacks on GM support and bots bannig/goldsellers/goldbuyers services bans.
Yet again, yes in comparison with real GM reply on wow vs others MMO, others MMO are lightining fast to get real reply solving stuff from a real person.

there was a bunch of custom servers like that back in the days, but ālegitā server is the best formula because itās balanced etc
i think when Blizzard end their retail trilogy and Classic gets old again, they gonna have 2 solutions ā
- make an entire new MMO (they are surely already working on something)
- or make a Classic āEdit modeā like we had in Warcraft3 to custom maps, so everybody could make their own custom servers, something like that

I think that the term āpink colored glassesā is outdated. These days we should call them āgreen colored glassesā. Nobody does a better job at that than the greens at that. Even if WW3 would be one street away from their door, these guys would still find a way to ensure blizzard will fix it, before it reaches their street. Sometimes I wonder if they get payed to write what they do.
Skirmish bots exist since the release of the first computer games, and even in retail they have proven they CAN with their follower dungeons. To maximize profit, to ensure a populated MMO which appeals to players, seeking a complete social experience with a world that seems alive, why would blizzard not use skirmisch bots. Its a company based on money. We can argue about how āsocialā it really is, but the point is obvious. Nobody likes to play in an empty world, and if it spices their bank, some would even be willing to sell their mother.
