List your 3 worst noob mistakes! Do you dare?

Why was the orc chasing her though ?

  1. Started playing a Paladin.
  2. Rolled Ret.
  3. Kept playing a Paladin for 15yrs.

Probably because she ran away

He can’t kill her if she in elwynn

Exactly. :stuck_out_tongue:

When i was killing elite mobs on quel thalas dayli q island whit my axe, it took age to kill them. Next day i found i need speak with flymaster and bomb them.

First real noob experience. Lvled my first character to level 5 back in vanilla. Died. Had to make a new because I didn’t know how to ress.

And now I play a hunter. Soo many huntard mistakes has been made.

nr 1:Listing feet of the lynx on AH for 70s instead of 70g…
not that it would sell for 70g but…
it kinda got sold after 3 minutes…

nr2; Thinking lvl 60s on a pvp server would leave lvl 30s alone. Imho, such people are surely shtheads irl as well…

in love? much feelings?

I’ve been playing WOW on and off for a decade, and I just made a pretty embarrassing noob mistake just now…

Gurubashi Arena, midnight. I approached the arena and, me thinking to fight off the potential Horde, I asked the level 60 Alliance players there if they wanted to group. They said nothing except laughed. I jumped down into the arena…

I was NOT expecting my fellow alliance players to charge and slaughter me! It was terrifying. I’m only level 43.

Then after they looted, they proceeded to corpse camp me and laugh and call me a noob.

I had no idea that you would fight your own faction every-man-for-himself in the arena…

Proper noob mistake LOL. I feel like a right idiot.

  1. I’d started to play classic

Haven’t more mistakes.

I specced Prot and didn’t drag Last Stand into my bars for the last 2 weeks

I can’t really remember old mistakes tbh

wasting 3000g on overrated gear and mounts 3 times

The biggest mistake I still make to this day is thinking people have the same experience and skill as I do in-game, resulting in me being very frustrated with them over the slightest mistake.

These days I’m learning how to play a hunter, which I don’t really have that much experience with (aside from a few hours on retail), so naturally I am making a lot of mistakes. For instance I have yet to master the DM: North solo tribute run because I am not fully aware of all the hunter mechanics yet.

Finally I’d say that my biggest mistake was getting into this game again when I had finally broken the habit… :frowning:

When WoW was released, I already had over 10 years of MMO playing under my belt (UO, EQ, AC1, DAoC, SWG, AO, etc…), so I didn’t make many of those noob mistakes.

Of course, as a hunter, everyone forgets at least once to dismiss his pet before jumping in the arena in BRS…

I donĀ“t really remember but I am sure I made a lot of them. Actually it made me realize how I miss making mistakes. Sadly now that people are more experienced I think they became less tolerant to other people making mistakes. But previously it was normal and it was part of the game and fun. And reason why content was not so easy. Nowadays everyone expects everyone to know everything about the game. This is even worse in retail when it is so easy to replace a player via dungeon finder. Usually when I started playing a bit later on and asked the group to explain tactic, they just kicked me and have me replaced. Because itĀ“s easier. It Ā“s a single player game after all so why should they care about other players…
