Heya, I am sorry if a similar thread exists already, I checked several guild threads but wasn’t able to come to a clear conclusion. I recently returned back to rp after a year lnog pause and am looking for any Horde or neutral guild that would be open to recruiting a shal’dorei character. Does not need to be a nightborne centric guild.

I know Remethion who is the GM of Nightborne, he enjoys DMing events for other nightborne characters as well as cross-guild campaigns. The guild is more a community than a unit though. But maybe it might interest you?

The ‹Nightborne› are indeed more of a community than a guild. Informations about our events and what they involve can largely be found on the argent archives’ link Acrona kindly posted: we focus on high fantasy events like artifact hunts, dungeon crawls and treasure hunts, and then some social events or casual RP. If you’re interested or just want to know more, feel free to hit me up in-game.
If instead you’re looking for a Horde guild, one that provides weekly events, I heartily recommend checking the Horde server discord, the one called Horde AD RP Community. You will find plenty of Horde guilds over there that have either an elven theme, an artifact hunt theme, or even just a more generic adventurer guild that might welcome all kinds of members of the Horde.
I also see some of these guilds on the forums so I will post them here.
I have heard good things about (but have not yet interacted with) the Eclipseborne! They are an official military group of blood elves and nightborne whose main goal is to fight threats to the kingdom of Quel’Thalas, especially the Void. I have interacted in the past with a military guild who, as per their thread, focuses on “plundering, exploring, killing in the name of the Horde and its allies”. They have a more tribal vibe, but definitely welcome all (Horde) elves in, and have a very laid-back and friendly OOC approach. Check out the Grimtusk Warband:

Also another guild I have not interacted with, but to me looks like they’re nice people, is the Far Reach, which focuses on artifact gathering and research for the Horde (a theme an elf might be interested in). What else? I have heard there are a couple of events about to come in Silvermoon, but I am not sure if the organizers want me to post them on the forums, so I will first and foremost double-check with them. Still, I recommend to enter the Horde’s RP discord server, where a lot of informations are advertised.

I thank you both for your replies, it’s been most enlightening. While I can appreciate a good military based guild I believe I am looking for something less strict (icly) as I have only recently returned from my break, I will try to get in contact with you in game Remethion regarding some questions if you don’t mind in- game mail!

And forgive me for assuming and going slightly off-topic, but! If memory serves right I recall seeing your name in several kaldorei rp posts, and being a late arrival to this year’s rp, I would like to ask some questions regarding kaldorei rp community of ad via in-game mail if that’s fine by you ^^ No pressure of course.

If youre still looking, the Far Reach is pretty lax military wise. Just keep the armistice, be decent and well be fine 
also recruiting contractors who want to be part of the adventure but dont want to conscript.
