Memories of Brigante

We have two streaming links for tonight thanks to two very kind people. The links are as followed:

Xenval

The Arcadian

The argent dawn community lament together on the loss of a well known, long standing member of our realm. Brigante / Dudge. On the 26th of February we will be hosting a memorial for Brigante to allow people to come and say a few words if they wish to and for us to do a flight in his name. If you wish to attend anyone is welcome and if you’d like to say anything please message tialis or Devontae or alternatively leave a message in this forum. We will be asking people to keep their messages short - five minutes each as we want to allow everyone a chance to talk and if anyone is too shy to say their own words we will read them out. Find the intended schedule below…

20:00 - opening of service Isle of Quel’danas Inn.

20:30 - The floor is open for everyone to offer up a memory they have with Brigante.

21:30 - Teleport to Pandaria to head to the Aboretum, and take to the skies on dragonhawks for two to three circuits of the race track.

Finishing with a large display of fireworks in the same explosive Mark he made on our community.

Likely this will be put in the main body of the post, but we’ll be starting at the inn on Isle of Quel’Danas, as this is where the Sun Hawks were based. We felt it fitting to start the memorial service here.

I will be at the attendance on Maltherion rather than Stallnorth. Considering, that character knew more people back then. Hope I can make it and see you all there.

Alas, sorry to hear. Used to participate in a few good events with him.

As a former member of the Sun Hawks, Kialen will be there for one last flight in the Wing Commanders name.

My orc warlock was proud to call him a friend. I remember having a fun time with him and the Sun Hawks. Lok-tar, brother. May the Arbiter grant you a just afterlife and a well-earned rest.

Will you be making a raid for off-realmers to come as well?

And if so who should they contact?

Sadly I did not know him well, but I will be there with my folks to pay respects

He promised me to be my wingman…

Least I can do is attending.

But as I’m not playing on AD, would that be possible to setup a discord or a community to help us attending? Thanks.

Im gonna attend anyway, but judging the date from being a saturday and some people having to work there or even worse have a night shift that day wouldnt it be better, if possible, to have the date to be on sunday as to maximize the chances for everyone that wishes to attend?

Would it be poss to make a discord so we can all gather please ?

I think the organisers are discussing logistics for off-realm invites; the memorial may be streamed as well, so people who can’t attend in person due to work commitments can at least see the send-off.

Oh, this sucks. :frowning:

RIP, Brigante, may you rock on in a better place.

Always there to pay respect to fellow ADers, I remember him as one of main characters in the RP scene in WoD and those who knew him thought fondly of him.

May he respawn in a better place.

Hiya all. Last post before I sleep.

Firstly: Yes, we will be looking to stream the event. Either I will do so myself, or I’ll have someone on hand to do so for me. Computers are tricky.

Secondly: We felt Saturday was the best time as Saturdays tend to have the best turn outs, at least judging from past campaigns, social events, and general opinion when we initially threw out a couple of dates. Many apologies for those who aren’t able to attend - we went with what we feel to be the best option and sadly neither De’vontae nor I tend to be available Sundays anyway.

Thirdly: We are looking at the logistics of bringing non-AD folk over to our server and will do our best to make it happen. This will require letting us know you wish to attend beforehand so that we can arrange this for you.

I ask for your understanding at this time - it has been an emotional and tiring day for me. I will more than likely have a better answer once I’ve slept. Thank you to everyone who has shared memories of Brigante so far.

Going to be there for sure. The ranger-captain and his strange love of port will be missed.

Can’t say that I was close with him. But whenever we interacted, he left a deep impression on me. His passion was inspiring. Especially his passion for flying aces. We had a few chats about Richthofen, that stay with me.

That said. I’ll see you in Walhalla.

Hi Tialis, can I help in some kind of way? Invites or whatever
