New Instance Limit in WoW Classic

what the actual f are blizzard thinking, this cannot be a real rationalized thought out change right?

you literally screw the entire playerbase and bots will STILL continue to run multiple accounts to get around this…

seriously just revert this change before you piss off the entire playerbase

You know how there’s all those ‘laws’ about rules that people came up with, like Mendel’s Law, Moore’s Law etc.

There should be one called “Blizzard’s Law - The best solution is always the one that costs players the most money”.

I genuinely can’t work out if you’re massively retarded, or incredibly intelligent and playing the ‘long game’ here Blizzard…

I would bet money on the fact that you already have the ‘WoW Token, Classic version’ set up in the background, ready to drop into place and be a ‘solution’ after the months of “We can no longer grind / afford gear, mats, consumables” etc. which will inevitably follow this disastrous change…

Not to mention all the bans (of legitimate, but now crippled players) that will take place for buying gold with RL money, from the very organisations (bots, gold farming squads) that you are avoiding dealing with in the first place…

Clueless. Utterly clueless.

By they way, they should rename the topic “Another limit in WoW Classic”. New instance limit, locked servers, layering … What’s next ? I can’t wait to see and finally stop paying my subscription/being a cash cow.

i agree that bot infestation is the number 1 problem of wow and its the main reason that drives people away.
but that is not hotfix for that problem, just an annoyance for actual players.
please blizzard get ur act together, get over the greed for bot subscriptions and just do actual bot ban waves every week. at least that would be the most effective way… but ofc i am a dreamer

I hope they realize we see this for what it is…
A pathetic attempt to make it look like they are doing something for the players while thinking only about how to milk the botters for all the money.

This literally hurts normal players than bots just ban the bots and remvoe this change

This change hurts a lot of feral druids. As a feral druid I need to farm my raiding weapon in gnomeregan. Usually farming everything a day before the raiding day. Sometimes even more than 40 runs.

With this change, it gonna make me and many other fellows ferals unable to do so. Feral druids already don’t have a real structure in classic. No real gear sets. Don’t make us suffer even more.

This change gonna effect more legitimate players than actual bots. Please do find a bettrr way to fight it without hurting the playerbase.

The amount of time “normal gamers” invest in this game is disturbing

I’m 100% going to lock myself out of a raid night due to overfarming the night before somehow…
this sucks

Its amazing for the ppl that plays less than 4 hours a day, for the ones that rly play the game it sucks.

So basically your incapability to fix the botting issue is now causing to change a huge aspect of the game, which is dungeoneering. So many people level up their characters purely with dungeons (either with normal groups or even by getting boosted from high level characters) and this is something we had going since Vanilla.

Not even gonna mention a class/spec forgotten by you Blizzard (Ferals) that in order for them to be somehow “competitive” they need to farm Gnomeregan…

Lastly you add an instance cap without giving us an official counter so we actually know how many instances we have left for the day… great work overall, i assume a small Indie company requires a few more years of experience to work through issues like this…

What a joke…
Win win for Blizzard as the botters will just make more account, level then and swap bots when limit is reached. Farm gold quickly in retail to buy tokens & keep screwing the nornal player over. Sub numbers go up & Blizzard stock prices go up…

This is actually even worse than you doing nothing about botting. Affecting a portion, all be it small, of your player base that don’t bot negatively in a hope to reduce bot numbers.

This is genuinely horrific, an absolute insult. You deserve all the backlash you get for this. Think before you act and actually incorporate some non-ridiculous methods to fight back against the number of bots plaguing your game.

Pathetic.

yeah actually true, the result of this change is indeed botters will have to buy extra accounts, so after they hit the dungeon cap they probably be in World farming mobs so we will have more botters on already locked servers

edit* bots cant join locked server omegalul, but none locked servers will see more bots
