As far as we heard, passives including things like Azeroth passives, conduits artefact weapon passives.

So if they actually keep that promise, the passive might be big and maybe game changing.

Both trees are limited in points.
General will have you put 31 and spec 30
At lvl 70
Sorry saw late you already answered that.

We can look at it this way that, the same players that click like a guide says now, will click like a guide says with the new trees.
Same as players that generally don’t do that, won’t do that either with the new type of trees.

So if for grp 1 = same
Then for grp 2 = more possibilities.

As such, the new trees are better than what we currently have.

Isnt this the same thing that i wrote?

Yes, was just expanding for those that didn’t get the point.

That is the problem with guides…
Players don’t think anymore they just want to play without the hassle.
More power to them as far as I care.

But for those that actually want to experiment that tree will open a few more possibilities.
And that is what gets me excited.

No sensible person huh?
You mean non meta-slaves? I actually think those people ARE the sensible ones… You know… The ones playing what they find fun. So senseless.

I hate the new talent tree and love the old one.

But I do NOT trust the new generation of pink haired blizzard developers to do anything correctly.

No matter what, it looks and IS better than “Pick one of three, where only one matters and the others have no reason to ever be chosen over it”

As long as they’re only taking away some covenant abilities, I’d be fine with such system.

The issue being that we don’t have a clue aboot trees so we should have to wait and see…

Oh thank you. I tend to believe everyone knows what i mean

Why you are still a gnome? This is irritating

We still haven’t seen the new trees, only a picture of the druid resto spec so far.
They have said they want to get the new talent trees out asap to get feedback in order to make sure feedback is received to during the development.

Are some currently baseline abilities gonna be moved to the talent trees, absolutely.
The current talent system only gave us a few choices so a lot of abilities and upgrades was just given as you level up since they couldnt be put into the talents.

We got these no matter what, even if we wouldnt use them.
If I get the choice to switch out ignore pain since it is a dps-loss for a fury warrior and pick another defensive ability that doesn’t ruin my rotation I would love that.

Some choices will be obvious picks atleast for some content.

Let’s say Pummel is one of those abilities moved to the talent tree, it is an obvious pick for pvp and m+. But if I am raiding? It might be possible for me to pick that point elsewhere if we have lets say a few DH who actually gain resources from interrupting, or a shaman who has a ranged interrupt on a shorter cooldown.

And even if we dont get anything new, just the fact that I would now be able to pick both the stun and double charge is a huge improvement.

Lets just be sure to give feedback and suggestions for improvement and possible additions when they release the alpha talent trees.

I made a thread about old abilities and traits I want to return here: What would you like to see return as part of the new talent system?
Feel free to add your wishes to give the developers as much inspiration possible for good talent trees with many possibilities.

Because I haven’t relogged. And I think it’s kinda funny.
My profile shows the right race and such though.

I see you as a human.

With me the avatar does as well, but it says 60 Gnome Hunter.

Oh, didnt even pay attention to that.

You’re a normal headed gnome.

The most important thing should be that the base / core of the classes are solid in itself.

The talent tree should be there to customize our Playstyle… But let’s see how it goes.

If you need to spent a point only to get something borderline important like kick / interrupt, it’s already going the wrong direction.

Yes, I agree, which is why I said ‘or so they say’.

Best iteration of talent trees will always be the Artifact weapons, because in the end you got everything save for 3 minor passives that had to be farmed.

Otherwise talent trees just end up being the illusion of choice.
