I find it absolutely hilarious that you are admitting that the elitist mentality is destroying the game but say that it won’t be a problem in WoTLK. Meanwhile there are people playing hybrid specs that simply can’t get into a daily heroic because they ‘apparently’ don’t bring enough to the table to warrant getting a invite, and you think this will change in WoTLK?
The LFD system in TBC is atrocious, that’s part of the reason why barely anyone uses it, nobody wants to spend hours posting on a bullitin board only to find out that the person who was looking for a DPS already entered a dungeon 15 minutes ago.
I am completely fine with removing the teleport to dungeon feature from RDF, that way players will still have to travel there and can experience the world, but at least make a way to get into a group without having to check a bullitin board or spamming LFG chat for hours because that is such a bad way to go about it.
Based off of experiences in live Wrath+Warmane, vote to kick barely happens by elitists, even moreso if you have a slight idea of what you’re doing.
Carry-potential is drastically higher and far much easier made by the combat changes in Wotlk. They will carry the entire dungeon without taking one look back after queuing in LFD, the difficulty of the dungeons was already fairly easy in 2009, and will be far easier with the knowledge in 2022.
A random can literally enter LFD in 3.3.0 with minimum IL requirements & the tank will pull the packs from start to end without stopping once, and if DPS is slow, he’ll just survive it. I’ve seen this over and over already. If anything, elitists are bored and queue for LFD for some instant-amusement/ego building which in turn helps out the lesser geared players.
When you realese expansion with latest patch you already making changes. If there is somebody with mentality of #NoChanges lets get WOTLK with the first patch where DK’s has been absolutely broken hm ? Will you be happy ?
I think there’s a misunderstanding here. I want 3.3.5 on first day. I meant #NoChanges in the same way that TBC was, based off the final patch but no other changes aside from that. ^^
you mean the people that have real life jobs, families, etc? Those lazy people… on the other hand sitting in your moms basement, real life loser and spam chat for hour is hard working class? Dude really, I dont know what to say to you… only to laugh and cry on the same time cause deep inside me I feel sorry for you
Imagine not having the time to spam LFG chat for hours because you have a wife, kids, a fulltime job and also want to enjoy playing the game. Hysterical.
oh you are also smart one… well you know there is Season of Mastery right? They dont have dungeon finder there… it is social… they ask you how was your day and such things. WotLK had dungeon finder period…
You’re really showing the positive side of the community Blizzard seems to be catering to.
“Don’t like it, go away and play retail!”
If I wanted to play retail I would be playing retail. I’m not.
The RDF tool was part of WoTLK, and as I previously mentioned in other topics the advantages of having it outweigh any argument not to have it when you look at the current situation in TBCC where people can barely get into a group if you have a suboptimal spec/class.
They have made a decision and I hope they stick to it. People will still play the game regardless, once they have wiped their tears away. Dual spec will make it significantly easier to not have to play suboptimal specs, so if you are struggling to find a group, respec to tank or healer
Yes exactly, no better words for this.
Loosing 1 hour of our life finding group when you need item which will drop to you on 20th attempt = 20 hours of your life loosing…
Oh didn’t you hear? They are actually thinking of restricting dual spec too. Because ,it would disincentivize hybrid builds, . They will probably add a cooldown to switching or something. These people are out of their minds if you ask me. Messing with major features of a beloved expansion like WOTLK.
Imo if a feature was in WOTLK it should be unchanged in WOTLK classic unless like 90% of players want it changed. And that’s just not the case with LFD or Dual spec. Not even close.
Wasn’t changing spec only doable in rested areas in wrath? Seems like a reasonable enough restriction to me. A CD would kinda suck.
Imagine if you heal or tank a dungeon on something, then you swap to dps spec for some open world reason and then a friend asks if you can help heal or tank for some dungeon or quest and you have to decline because you still have cd on switching.
They had that in the start but the idea was quickly abandoned after massive player feedback, in practice it was extremely counter productive especially because some bosses required an off-tank and others didn’t.
Imagine having 24 people waiting on you to HS, changing spec, summoning, etc on every boss. It’s just not practical.
