Ah very interesting, I’ve not played on any non english speaking realms so forgive my ignorance on the non english realm history. That means it could be a possibility then I suppose although I still think most of the people left would want to retain the RP tag.

@Ellori: No need for apologies. It would perhaps be too much to say that it qualifies as obscure lore, but it was sufficiently long time ago that not everyone is aware of it. 
As for your conclusion, I am inclined to agree fully. RP is rare enough as is, no need to make it even rarer. salutes

I think you should react faster, server ( * Dreadmist, Flamelash, Judgement, Razorgore, Shazzrah, Stonespine, Ten Storms, and Gehennas) is dieing as we speak, merge it.
i think this thread has gathered enough of opinions and reach
it’s up for blizzard to react.
i get that TBC has prio atm for maintenance purposes but it’s not like merging the servers would require manpower of 100 people.
lets wait and see if they care enough

Initially, in Classic project, pve and rp realms was not contemplated. They add them later thx to the huge hype and many many requests. I think that is the time to merge all the realms together in one single pvp realm with a name, removing all the others. This is the only way actually to save ClassicEra if theydon’t want to starta fresh single pvp realm.

Well how selfish you are? Not all likes PVP realm so don’t put more salt into the wound. Just because you like pvp doesn’t mean all of the remaining players that are on the PVE realms agrees with you.

Then they would have to implement war mode as well, as more than half the remaining players are on PvE realms and would not go on playing on a realm where getting ganked all the time was a possibility (no need to tell where I play 
)

I play on a PVE server really…
Unfortunately it was not a selfish or ironic response. But probably very close to reality. We could then say 2 servers, 1 PVE and one PVP. But the PVE one will never have a population similar to any pre-era server, but perhaps it would approach a Vanilla 2006 server. We all know that the way to repopulate Classic Era is to drop a couple of fresh servers in August September
I’m at least glad to see my server slowly growing each day.
It’s like a fresh server start. Getting quite a tight knit and friendly community. Partially because everyone in it really is dependent on eachothers skills and help 
Hopefully it will continue on this positive path.

I’ll come back to HW Classic soon as well, I’ll be leveling on both TBCC and Classic Era. I may even check in with the Retirement Horde community

Well If they make PvE and PvP all be happy with the merge but only 1 PvP is unacceptable and that’s why I said it’s selfish

I assume there will be some ups and downs for classic the coming weeks/months.
When the portal opens I would assume some more people go that route for a while.
The currently small but determined bunch of can-doers in the classic era need to go on during that period. Until the regrowth catches good momentum.

I have checked pops each morning now for the past three days on all major PVE realms.
At 6:AM there are between 20 - 30 players online at each realm, about half are level 60. If so many do play at such a weird time, then there is no more need to complain.
Give it a few more weeks and we have a population like in original Vanilla. More we dont need, nobody has to raid Naxx or pvp Southshore at 3:00AM, just let this vision of WOW go and you will be happy.
I am actually suprised how fast the people are back, I did think it would take longer.

There is only one rp pve and rp pvp server. So there is nothing to merge them with.
