Quality over quantity.
Please go back to ur tbc or retail if u dont know what u talking about ( no hard feelings), servers are empty, its easy to talk when “u belly is full”.
I wanna arrive work and go play a dungeon with mates, raid at weekends NOW like i did before, not in 3 weeks a month whatever u wanna wait while u in ur green screen(tbc reference). I dont care about tbc, its great? yes, more ballanced, yes, good for u! I wanna stay in Classic Azeroth and have a blast doing all again for shadow bis this time, go pvp all the way up, geting a “mark of dragon lord” after 200 times in lbrs or simple just get a “book of the dead” for my pet nerdy colection. I WANNA PLAY CLASSIC NOW CAUSE IS A MASTERPIECE OF GAME and should remain eternal.
Not sure about the situation on English speaking realms though on German ones its a bit … wirred to say the least. Some of the realms got connected and are at least able to form raid-groups for MC, BWL as well as AQ40 and they are even planing to expant to Naxx soon, while others were not connected at all and now face a daily player-pool of roughly 7-30 players per faction, which is by far not enough to do anything MMO-typical. I also have to mention that among these “players” we do have a couple of dungeon-bots (reported on a daily basis, though still grinding Dire Maul in and out), some auction-house bots, which sell a stack of runecloth for more than 60g per stack or a stack of nightfin soup for more than 300g per stack … as if such items were needed in its current state, and a handful of hardcore/ironman players who are not interested in group-play at all. The only guy having a blast so far is a multi-boxer who grinds his way up through instances using 4 mages and a priest, also reported constantly. Unfortunately my ticket asking whether multi-boxing is now allowed on classic-era servers, in spite that the economy factor is not an argument further, so that at least some dungeon groups are able to form was closed without a response.
While I’m not a big fan of cross-realm server TBH, I currently don’t see an alternative for now than to connect them as requested here. In regards to the request of connecting all type-specific realms I just want to add a remark that most language-specific realms don’t really want to participate in English speaking pools. While I’m fine with English, a handful of players I’m currently interacting with don’t speak English well and stated that they will quit the game if they are forced to communicate in English.
I am also curious to learn what heuristic was used to decide which realms to connect and which not. As of now, the server I’m actively playing on loses players almost every day as we can’t participate in group-content unless carying alts with Naxx geared mains through low-level dungeons counts as such. A blue response would be really appreciated as in its current form, classic-era realms are cursed to die a slow and painful death as players are already leaving servers due to the lack of social interactivity in a MMO
I’m sick of it! Please Blizzard merge fast all server on era ! I can’t play my favorite game anymore! The action house is empty since the first day of era! I have no way to transfer cunsumables from TBC to Era !
You can take an exclusive opportunity and copy your character to The Burning Crusade Classic™® and enjoy the best World of Warcraft expansion. You also can buy Deluxe Edition only for 64.99€.
Thank you!
Regards, Blizzard
You knew that!
All the talk of “how to cheat the system” has been rampant on this forum since day one … and have all been shot down.
There was a loophole though. All my mail was duplicated. I don’t know how it was done, but sadly it was nothing of value ^^
bumpedi bump bump bum bum
A German MMO- and Games-Related newspage (buffed.de) did an interview with the project leads recently and they also tackled the situation on some German realms, like Razorfen, which is one of the few realms that was not connected to other realms and therefore currently suffers dramatically by a low population count (roughly 7-30 player at prime time).
The leads mentioned that their current focus and attention is on the TBC launch and therefore no capacities are available to currently fix the situation on those low-pop realm for now though they monitor the current player count as well as other metrices to determine further steps.
They were also talking about providing fresh classic-era servers if demanded by the players.
So, I guess we have to be patient for some furthre weeks until we might see a change for the better
Small indie company indeed.
Srsly, its not funny anymore, they have gone too far with that. After 2-3 weeks there will be no more to monitor. Everyone will just leave.
Gosh, this is so ridiculous.
well at least we can say that we tried
I’m here in support of the merge.
I do not wish for Hydraxian Waterlords to get connected though. Blizzard should instead give the players on Hydraxian Waterlords the option to get a free transfer to the PvE realm. This way the players who chose to stay on Hydraxian Waterlords will have the chance to play with a tight knit community on a peaceful realm, while the ones who want to focus on raiding and a more active playerbase can move to another realm.
Another supporter for the merge.
I also wish to second the above poster in supporting a free transfer for those on Hydraxian Waterlords who wish to join a PvE realm to do so. I am playing on Hydraxian Waterlords and while it is rather quiet – I have seen ranges from as a little to five online, and up toward 40 at the times I play – I would rather give it time. I am content with how things are on our realm and seasons do change.
So please do let Hydraxian Waterlords stay unmerged, but give others who wish it the choice to transfer, and do so for free.
I’m here in support of the merge.
Please blizzard!
Yes please. This is the optimal solution!
#nocapacities
chill doods
it’s done
merge is no more an option
wat u mean? lol
well we can safely say that it won’t happen.
blizzard saw this thread and the only action they took was to mute me for two days because of bumping.
also we can note that their statement about keeping an eye on the situation and doing further merges if needed was only a bolt lie to keep the players quiet for the time being.
their response as of late (what we know of) is that they don’t have the capacity to fix the situation. apparently several billions of dollars isn’t enough to hire a few people to fix this mess.
thanks for everyone’s effort. feel free to keep on discussing but I’ve invested too much time and energy trying to spread the word. Blizz will do what they like - and they like the TBC money it seems.
have a blessed day everyone, stay friendly and civilized.
Where did u see them saying they dont have the capacity?
