Like it, but remember, its all good running about re Wpvp, i love that tbh. Just don’t stomp/gank, with other 60’s on the ‘lower’ lvl alliance char just running around on their own (his/her) business. That person has to run to their corpse (i.e like 5mins ish give or take). You wouldn’t like it if it happened to you!

When i was lvl’ing i helped horde - if i saw them doing a q themselves that looked hard/from XP recollection. i would communicate with them /**** and jump up and down (no moving and /point) so they knew i didnt want to attack and kind of understood i knew and was trying to help.
I guess that’s what i am trying to communicate (main goal tbh).
That is what i remember back in the day… people, no matter what faction, not just total gank… just helping each other (no matter what faction, BG’s were different)… If i had any memory to take away from Vanilla? It would be that.
I am a nice ganker. I have a code, I only gank for a reason or when it’s a wpvp event. You will never see me gank a leveler or someone fighting mobs etc unless they are on my KOS list or we have some fun wpvp going where red=dead.

I understand the nice ganker bit. But as you will 100% know there are a lot of ‘grey’ areas to WoW Classic atm. All i ask is you use your brain (when horde ganks/well overpowers any solo player/lower lvl’s q’ing, and vise, visa tbh). If u have to step up and call out to your grp when ppl are taking the piss, so be it!

Well for starters Blizz could actually do something when people get reported. I see people highlight afkers and leechers in games, but they remain regardless. It takes a fair number of players to report and flag such a player and then another fair number of players to report enough to kick. So many people have given up reporting becuase in most instances nothing happens. Making the bots, afkers and leechers more bold. Bots are so prevalent yet Blizz does very little to combat it.
Again, lets test it on a PTR. With rep, i would say it should stay the same. With Honour, that can be adjusted. Blizz have already adjusted honour gains in the past so this isn’t some drastic new prescedent. Maybe the premade queues could get a % increase or an additional bonus honour?
A negative aspect to that however could be that on servers where there is an overabundance of a certain class, such as the massive number of warriors and mages, may result in players of those classes getting far less opportunities to PVP. And with the lack of PVP Healers on my server, could potentially end up with loads of groups in the LFG chats requesting for healers but taking a long time to gather a well balanced group.
Another issue to contend with on this would be low pop servers, or the quiet non peak times, people spending considerable time forming groups. People who can’t play peak times will be at a disadvantage so it wouldn’t be 100% fair.
As i have stated in the past, i do both premades and solo queues. On the times i solo would be instances where i have a spare half hour. I log in, just straight into a WSG or AB. No need for searching in LFG, waiting for other players, waiting for BG’s to end so i can join in with friends/guildies/rankers etc. I can simply join at a battlemaster and enter pretty quick. Again, i feel for my horde brothers who have to contend with longer queue times. Which then is another factor horde players will need to contend with when doing premades, having to then deal with queue times.
I understand, and i do agree in many ways that when we were calling out for WoW classic before it’s official release so many were praising the honour ranking system.
I can just understand so may players frustrations with the repetition of premade after premade and being reduced to ghosting at graveyards on an almost each game basis, especially during the PVP holidays.
Yes, but the problem is…they already put changes, your point is therefore invalid. Back in vanilla, there was a LFG system you know? You had to talk to an inn keeper, and you could queue for a dungeon. Do you know why they didn’t implement this? Because people (like you) would trash so much about retail, that every little features that look remotely like retail would have caused a tremendous argument.
People like you only want the changes that you want, and the others, that are necessary for the well being of the game, you just say: “iT wAs nOt lIkE tHiS bAcK iN tHe dAy” and you magically win the argument. But you don’t. To not upset your part of the community, they even add spell batching, which is basically a latency added to the game. It was something added during vanilla to prevent a lot of problem due to the lack of good internet connection, it’s not a problem anymore, but they implemented it anyway, even though it’s really really stupid. It’s not like it “add to the immersion of vanilla wow, it was like this” no, it wasn’t at first. It’s like saying that you should play on a very old computer with like 2GB ram to simulate how it was back in the day.
All that for one thing: premade vs premade and pug vs pug
we had changes. How is layering not a change how is spellbaching not a change?? prove it to me and ill agree with you that this game dosent need changes to get better. i want ques up to 5 people in a group is fine but full premade groups facing pugs? that aint fun game play.
We have not had changes in the WSG/AB Battleground queue system in question. That is 100% authentic recreation of how it was in Vanilla.
If you can point to a change that is RELEVANT to that, be my guest and we can discuss it.
Layers is a nasty change that literally ruins the game but it has nothing to do with the WSG/AB Battleground queue system. Try again.
Spell Batching is not a change… Try again.

You can have that opinion but then Classic is probably not the game for you. You see Classic is a recreation of 2006 World of Warcraft based on patch 1.12.1 on a modern client.
Matchmaking and the 5 man party limit was added in Mist of Pandari. 8 years after Vanilla.
YOU need to adapt. Don’t demand that the game adapts to you.
For example. If you want to have fun in Classic WSG/AB BAttlegrounds in 202; Join friends and other players from you community (realm) and play group pvp content as a group.

You literally used an UNRELATED change as an argument right now. If anything, it proves that Blizzard have no interest in making a seperate queue for pugs when they are silent and instead are keeping an extra queue for groups.
This game have never, to this day, had a seperate queue for pugs in WSG/AB.
I agree with OP. I want this, because I want the Vanilla experience. Just like a lot of other people do. That’s why we came back after all these years.
The key takeaway from this entire thread is that #NOCHANGES people are the most bullheaded, single-minded folk I’ve ever met in any community. God forbid anyone else enjoy something differently from you.
You have every opportunity to enjoy something different to us elsewhere, rather than demanding that what we have gets changed to suit you, without giving a damn about the consequences of said change.

BGs are the only thing I enjoy in Classic WoW but I don’t want to join a premade.
Playing solo BGs casually isn’t possible currently because 90% of the time you’re matched up against premades. It’s not fun and it feels like a waste of time.
